Hmm, what's your shoes like?

However who here have finished Oblivion? I am considering buying it, yet I would like to know the lifetime of the game, and the replay value. My experience with RPGs are mostly KotOR and WoW (also Pokémon Blue and Silver). KotOR ended in a way that there is no more to do in the world, s the game like that? Or is it like WoW where there is still a world to do stuff in (even though the endgame stuff sux and is boring)?

Just played it for a day, and they'res done of stuff to do after beating the game.
I'm walking from Corral to Kvatch, and I literally went into about 4 dungeons, and I passed numerous ones too.
Also, every city has missions that you can do that take awhile.
I'm just scratching the surface.
There's tons to do.

It's a great game.

I think this game looks really cool - it's definitely my sort of thing.

Unfortunatly I can't afford to upgrade my computer to play it as well as I'd like it to be, and I sure as hell cannot afford (or really want) to get a 360. Though this game HAS made me consider it and it's rare that I'd consider a system for one game, especially a system I don't care for at all.

Why do Microsoft and Sony get away with putting out endless generic mediocrity?

The above quote. "Looks lame, I'll get it anyway."

I'm a reviewer thankyouverymuch. It's my hobby to tear apart games/music/movies I find to be lackluster while overly hyped.

I wonder if you just disproved what I said.

Oh, no. You didn't.

lol AC

honestly, if grand theft auto can score points for its 'sandbox' gameplay.... for 3 damn games in a row.. oblivion should have struck triple platinum by now

I'll go for upgrading the computer first....I need to stuff more RAM in it anyway so PS doesn't randomly lock up on me.

Okay, okay, you win. Upgrade your PC. 😛

Anyone want to help me take apart my laptop? 😂

See, to me, take apart means "sledgehammer," so you probably don't want my assistance. 😛

omg the coolest battle just now. me, guard vs 2 bandits vs 2 wolves...FFA

omfg did i get bit by a vampire? fear

I got this message after sleeping in some bandits bed...

"You dream of someone sleeping peacefully in his bed, when a shadowy, gaunt figure silently enters the room. Approaching the bed, the figure leans down and sinks its fangs into the sleeping person. After a few moments, the pale figure rises, blood dripping down his chin. As color flows back into the vampire's face, and his features fill out, you recognize the face as your own. You awake screaming"

Then it said this "Vampirism added. Vampire skills added. Hunter's Sight added"

You havent even played the game🤨

Morrindi: The game would last you months to do everything. I've seen reviews and stuff that say the main quest takes about 30 hours or so, but I've been playing since it came out and I havent even started the first mission yet.

Does anyone know where i can find Grand soul gems? I want to get rid of this vampirism NOW

if dremora are dwarves.. then what are dwemer? o_O

as for the grand soul gems.. mage guild vendors almost always have one up for sale... there are also some locked up in display cases in chorrol mages guild.. if you have intent to snag em that way

So what have u been doing if u have played from the very start and yet to start a mission?

Btw I have made up my mind, I'll buy it after school today (although cant play too much today as I have a huge test at Friday).

he meant he hadnt started the main quest. Theres TONS of other quests and exploration you can do, if you wanna put the main story quest on hold.
Like my goal right now is to hold the top rank for every faction, im grand champion of the arena right now, and about to finish fighters guild, then im about half way on mage and thief, also a member of the blades and the vampire hunters just had a mind lampse and cant remember their name.

you do have to level a bit before each oblivion gate right?... I mean I tried it without leveling and I got creamed by a dremora.. got to level 7 and tried it and i barely beat the final dude before the stone

Ive been wandering around looking around places, talking to people, trying to build up money...I've visited about 4 of the major cities in the game, thats not even totally exploring them...all this time and Im only level 3. I spent 3 hours today just looking around the mage's guild and fighter's guild in Bruma and stealing stuff, then I found some quest about a vampire hunter in town who killed someone. I've joined the Thieves Guild, Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, Dark Brotherhood and the Arena, but I've only done a few missions for each.

You can do whatever you want in the game, I dont plan on even starting the main quest until probably another month or so, theres so much stuff to do in the game I want to explore first. Add to that all the dungeons and ruins and forests and stuff you can explore that have nothing really to do with quests, and time just flies by.

Depends on what character you make, if you were a wizard etc, you could spend most of your time doing Mages Guild quests and improving spells, my guy is a Dark Rogue so I like breaking into houses and stealing stuff and that takes a lot of time considering how much stuff is put into the game. One house might take me half an hour to explore.

Its not a linear game like KOTOR where you put in 20hours and the game just ends. This game never ends.

Anyways, has anyone done that Vampire Hunter quest in Bruma? Cant remember the guy's name...Reynil or something like that...he killed someone in town who was supposedly a vampire, but the quest says I have to examine it cause it sounds dodgy. Went to the dead guy's house but the guards told me it was a crime scene and I had to leave, so I have no idea what to do now...
