Heroes who look in shape look cool, but it's unrealistic (outside of CGI characters like Hulk) to live up to what artists do. There isn't a man in the world who can look exactly like Thor and act a tiny bit.
No. They exist.
Of course, looking like Thor, in the face, and having the musculature would be a retardedly difficult to find, that's not really what I'm looking for. I am more or less disappointed with the "effort" put forth by the actors. Hugh Jackman, thus far, has been the best example of what can be done...but ....he was far too thin. I would have been content with him weighing 30 lbs more of nothing but muscle. Nothing retardedly huge like a bodybuilder, just much above average.
Cyclops should be in top physical condition. He is a really fit "athlete" in the comics. He is in top shape for a human. That's why he looks how he does. So why would it be too much to ask to choose and intelligent actor who is in great shape with a nice build, to be Cyclops?
To me, not having a half way decent sized Thor character for a live action film would be...shitty. It is along the same lines of "I thought he'd be taller." Why should a warrior God have the body of a 180lbs of an Urban jogging white guy?
You know, if Jay Cutler could act worth a shit, he wouldn't be too bad of a selection, either.
