I said that. Morph ball Bombs and Power Bombs are tiny compared with what MC could lay down. As in huge explosion that would destroy about the size of a football field.

I don't think any one has mentioned MC overshield? Makes him much harder to kill and can take a rocket blast in the face.

Morph ball bombs are indeed tiny, but power bombs, traditionally, can wipe out every enemy in a room, which gives the explosion about a 5 meter radius. I seriously doubt that an explosive able to take out a football feild would be a viable thing to carry into a one-on-one battle.

And Zero Mission is the ORIGINAL Metroid with enhanced graphics and more story, not Super Metroid.

Unfortuantely, I tend to agree that Football field eliminating explosives are impractical for one-on-one battle. However, knowing MC, he'd use it to make the enemy that slew him died with him.

General, it's not as you expect. The bomb, also know os the "Fury" tactical-nuke, is only the size of a football(good analogy, eh?) that can blow up a football stadium, not just the field. So he can basically sling it in his belt.

I think he is referring to the danger of hitting the warhead while it is in his possession, since an armed bomb would be brought to battle.. an accidental triggering might occur

A football sized nuclear warhead. I remember that in First Strike... I also Remember the Spartans being immune to the EMP effect caused by it. Sot hat means MC is also immune to emps. Theres another plus...

Pshaw, I say. Electronic systems are not IMMUNE to EMPs. Magnetic fields are not choosy about what they hit, and you can't block magnetism with anything you plan to be walking around in.

Indeed... especially when your adversary is slinging missiles and other explosives around.

i go with master cheif all the way

And yet you don't support your opinion. That's not going to get you anywhere in life.

What exactly makes there suits Electronic?

Where there! Oh you mean their suits. MC suit is electronic because it has the shield recharge. Samus because of her arm cannon and her head set and probally other devices that I don't know of.

That doesnt nessecarily make them elctronic. Not everything is based of electricity

Ah, but the most common form of usable energy is electricity. A mechanical bio-suit would run off of electricity simply because it's easy and efficient. This should also be obvious, as you fill Samus ENERGY tanks with static balls of ENERGY.

What would you expect mechanical suits to run off of? Carrots?

wow its really easy to see there electronic, use ur head

Energy can be created from anything, electricity is a form of energy, not energy itself. An I am not reffering to Samus, im reffering to the "Carrot-powered" Mjolnir suit.

Wow professor of Physics! Tell us more 😐

Well, let's investigate the ways we use energy...

Air power: wind blows windmills, which turn turbines, which produce ELECTRICITY.

Water power: water turns watermills, which turn turbines, which produce ELECTRICITY.

Geothermic power: heat from below the ground turns water to steam, which turns turbines, which produce ELECTRICITY.

Kinetic power: the same way a car battery works. Friction between two objects causes a static charge, A.K.A ELECTRICITY.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

Electricity is a form of energy. The year that Master Chief is in is 2552. 498 years from now. The oil supplies are gone and alternative methods of energy are employed. They even mention "The Fusion Reactors" several times. Im not saying WE don't use energy, but do these futuristic suits powered by fusion (Probably, since everything else in the Halo Universe that's human seems to be) have anything do to with how we use energy now???

Hmm intresting point. Like a lot of things in the games I don't think we're told if the suits are powered by electricity or some other type of energy. Unless someone has detailed info on how MC's and Samus' suits are powered I say we must assume that they would have at least a basic defence. But I admit I'm curious about this 'Fury' tactical nuke. Is it a standard weapon and if so how is it used? (I doubt for some reason that he lobs it at enimies like a grenade)

Samus killed my avatar. weep

The 'Fury' Tactical nuke is lobbed like a football, then detonated after, at least hopefully, your team has cleared the required distance to be safe from the explosion.
