I prefer gear's multiplayer mode, but the storyline wasn't even a real story. It was more like a backstory, imo.
Personally when I play Gears I feel like the gameplay gets repetitive in Multiplayer and that I'm oddly restricted.
In Halo 3 I feel more like a super soldier which I find to be fun.
Although I really enjoyed Gears story development for the most part.

Well, Gears is much more realistic, but yeah it got repetitive really quickly. By the last level I was tired of hiding behind cover.. the cover system made it too easy of a game.
I strolled through it's hardest difficulty like it was nothing. All I had to really d o was just fire blindly and whenever my health got low just duck down behind cover and wait for my health to regenerate. Rinse and repeat. And whenever a shotgunner or whatever tried to rush me I'd just blow him in half.. I was ridiculously good with a shotgun in that game.

I felt safe with all those weapons 😄
But yeah it wasn't that hard.
Still back on topic Halo 3 I think is a very good game

Yeah.. I prefer it's weapons.. and also the only thing it really has on gears is that you can do more online. And I freakin' LOVE the replay feature 😄

Gears isn't too easy because you have cover. You can't sit behind cover all day, you won't get anywhere.
For me, Gears is easy because I'm just good at it, there's a difference. If you try to tell me you feel you could stroll through any difficulty on first go, I'd call you a liar.

No true. I beat it, after all, using that very strategy. The locust don't recover there health, and if they did they did it a hell of a lot slower then I did. All I had to do was keep firing until my health was critical then duck down, wait till I was maybe half-way healed then pop back up and finish them off. I used that tactic the entire game.

😆 Whatever man.

I never even mentioned first go. I did the difficulties in sequence. But the hardest mode was the easiest for me.
I just started Halo 3 on the hardest level. It's quite challenging. A single shootout with a hoard of them can last a while.
I already beat it but if it gets too impossibly ridiculous and frustrating to play then forget it..Then that when the 360's cheating.
I hate that you can't just save anytime unless you quit and save and even that'll still take you to the beginning of the level but I was in a shootout that lasted almost 10mins. and they ambushed me cause rush out cause basically had had it with staying in the same spot shooting at them cause there wasn't a better vantage point than where I was. And I was killed and I had to to the whole thing again. I turned the 360 off. I'll probably continue it later though. But if that keeps happening then I'm good.
What a waste of time, that moment.

Yes, and my entire point is that the game hasn't changed, you just got better at it.
If it was as easy on first go, you'd have a point.
