gears of war has a sprint button?

yes... you hold the A(?) button while moving and he goes into a crouching sprint.. a very nice camera shake effect goes with it too..

I hope they add a disarm, or more complex melee instead ...a sprint should have already been added in halo 2, cuz chief runs about as fast as garbage on a hot august mornin'

It looks like what I expected. Halo 2 with a new storyline, and improved graphics. That's really all that there was gonna be. At least Bungie is sticking to what they know. I'm probably not gonna buy it for a while though.

Honestly, that did nothing for me. If they want to show us something, show us the ****ing game already. Not CG trailers and screens that look like Halo 2.5.

I just signed up for the Beta testing, hopefully I will get lucky and have a chance to test it.

Ya well its basically because of traffic, im sure there are millions of people trying, what I did was just keep refreshing the page until it works, it had to enter my info about 4 or 5 times until it said "Registration Successfull". Keep trying trust me it will work.

Ya, dont you know some of the backstory behind Halo? Its Master Chief and either Linda or Kelly on the planet Reach where the SPARTAN-IIs were trained. Its a flashback because he was somehow knocked off the warthog and probably had a concussion coming too he realizes he was knocked off.
