I don't believe in God because for there is no proof. No proof Adam and Eve ever existed, no proof that Jesus existed. The Bible says that Jesus could walk on water and heal the blind just by putting his hand over their faces...science says this can never happen, and I believe it.
At the beginning of the Bible, when it says about God making the world, not once are dinosaurs mentioned. We all know dinosaurs existed, we have proof of them. I believe the reason why dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible is because the Bible was written years before any dinosaur bones were found. No one even knew they had existed. If the person who wrote the Bible knew so much about God, what he said and did, wouldn't they know about the dinosaurs?
The Bible also says in one of the ten commandments that Thoult Shalt Not Kill, or something like that, but in other parts of the Bible, killing is acceptable for some stupid reason.
Weren't blacks given a bad rap in the Bible? We have accepted black people into society, now why can't we do the same for gays? Why is it such a bad thing to be gay? Sexuality is a preference, right? Just like a favourite color. No one is going to kill someone whose favourite color is green, just because the majority of the world like the color blue.
It is not a choice, and it angers me to hear Christians say that it is. If being gay was a choice, no one would be gay. Gay people would be with people of the oppisette sex, because they would not want to be ridiculed and hated because of who they are.
It angers me how Christians seem to have a say in everything, especially when it comes to the gay marrige issue. Gay marriage, to me, has nothing to do woth religion. It has to do with acceptance-are we ready to allow gays the same rights? We can't tell a gay person they can't marry or have kids just because they didn't turn out the way sopme people would have liked them too.
I know I am getting off topic here, I just think Christians need to keep out of stuff like this, and stop trying to force their religion down our throats. It is not compulsary for someone to believe in God, you choose to. If you choose to believe in God, don't try to force it on people who are not interested, don't say bad things about gays just because the Bible is against it.
Realise that the world is changing, we are becomming more accepting of peoples lifestyles now than we were 50 years ago, and the only people still kicking up a fuss are Christians themselves.
People will not respect your religion if you do not respect other peoples religions. Whether or not you think someone choices in life are wrong, you have no right to complain about it. Everyone is different, no one is the same.
I have not had respect for the Christian religion for some time now. Until my religion, Wicca, and my sexual preference is accepted, I will not respect the Christian faith. I have nothing against other religions, but it is just wrong to try to force people to believe something they don't.

Evanescence - Well said, sweetie! I'm with you on that one! Blessed be!
It truly is amazing that people continue to argue over this subject. Honestly we, or shall i say you are never going to agree. All i say is to let them bash us, Christians. Let them blame us for all the problems in the world. their words will not harm me. I KNOW, what i believe in and my faith is much stronger then that of someone who feels the need to make a Christian feel as though they are products of lies. i know that my faith and belief will be rewarded in the end. honestly your arguments only make me stronger. and if you feel that you have to put someone down, i feel sorry for you.
let me point out that the bible says that you shouldn't judge. i do not have the scripture right off the top of my head but i do know it says that only god can judge. so maybe all of those Christians who are going around and critizig other religions are not really "Christians" meaning "christ-like," as the word was intended. jesus never bashed anyone. and although you may think me cliche' i am not either. i do not agree with everything but it is not my place to cast judgement!
so have a great night.

The bible says that the world will hate christians, it hated Jesus , who are we to think we are any different ? Its because if you follow Christ you look at things differently, and not as the majority does . 😉

NO....I think it's more the judgmental attitude of many...the "If you don't believe like we do, then youre going to hell."....Jesus taught love...but also there are contradictions to what he taught also like..
Honoring your mother and father
then
If you don't hate your mother and father, brother and sister, then you are not a follower of me...😕

That's not true. There are plenty of commands that God gives which can be slightly altered because of a specific circustance.
