Well, then, Napalm, what exactly is a missionary? Someone who goes and tells people that they'll go to hell unless they accept Christianity, in order to convert so-called heathens. That sounds a lot like criticizing those of other beliefs to me!

Missonarys are kind and loving people Whats so bad about trying to convert someone

Yeah, telling someone they'll go to hell because they worship a different god is kind and loving 🙄 did it ever occur to anyone that maybe these people they're trying to convert don't WANT to be converted?

Or maybe it's that missionaries say "I believ in Jesus, and according to my belief, people who don't believe in God are goin to hell". I think it's just that people misinterpret what they are saying.

Bullshit
truth hurts but there is actually a lot of truth to Adams statement

They do help a lot of people, but at the same time they exploit the poverty of those they are helping to sort of bribe them to convert to Christianity.

It's tacky, obnoxious and annoying, that's what.

Im growing sick of hearing people bash christians for there beliefs. Why cant the people here just leave them alone

and why cant christians stop bashing other religions?

sorry sweet heart, but that's a two way deal.

um...yeah, most of america is christian...and the last time i actually 'heard' (as in verbal) a person of another religion completly bash christianity, was...well a long time ago. it doesnt happen that often, on the other hand, a friend of mine, was bashing another for being mormon this morning...christians aren't in minority, and if you really think the world is against you...get all the christians together, even the criminals, and go on a crusade, converting the rest of the world to christianity, so they'll be safe and won't go to your hell. also, i'm not any kind of anti-christ person either... my family is christian, and i just question it...and really i think your trying to bring pitty to yourself...or starting a conroversial thread just to see what happens...

In the US, Christians may be a majority, but when it comes to the entire world this is not so.

Actually it is.

In the UK Christains are deffinatly a minority.

Actually it isn't. Atleast 67% of the Earth's population is not Christian.

We're just making America look too big then it actually is.

No, it's not. A majority means it is greater than 51% of the population, and when it comes to the entire world, this is simply not true.

Ask everyone who ever fell under Hitler's rule, and died. The situations weren't as extreme, and where missionaries will remind you of the consequences, the Nazi regimes actually put you in them.

I'm a Christian, and it isn't "missionaries" place to put their faith on other people. People will believe if they want to, and they have to find their relationship with God themselves, IMO.

Getting invited to church is one thing, guerilla conversion missions are a whole 'nother beast.

thats what I said, I said Actually it is, A MAJORITY responding to silver

Did you read this?

How can the majority of people in the world be Christian if only 33% of people are Christian? Last time I checked, 33% is less than 51%, and you need at least 51% to have a majority. In many countries the majority of people may be Christian, but NOT the majority of the entire world.
