You homophobic bastard. YOU, Napalm, are why everyone else hates our country. You dont even know your own Constitution, nor the American Declaration of Independence. And if you deny these documents, you commit treason. And you just did. The most quoted line in American History, perhaps. "We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men are created equal..." ect. Ok, then, no equal rights. You know what that means? I can beat the sh*t out of you whenever I want.
that. [/B]
Im a homophic bastard? This threads about chritians not queers.
Uhh no the KKK is NOT a Christian Organization. Ppl criticize Christians because everyone's raised to believe that everyone's a liar and can turn on you. No one has very much trust these days, so they don't trust in the fact that there's a higher power that can help them out. They still go by the believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see deal. In order to be a TRUE Christian, you have to have faith, and no fear of anything but God, and most can't grasp that concept.

No they don't, Muslim extremists want to kill them.
Any extremist, whether it's a Christian, muslim, whatever is dangerous to society.
Most Christians are good people that I know. My parents are both Christian, but they aren't prejudice against gays and are actually for gay marriage, they don't believe everyone who holds a different belief is going to hell, but only those who lead bad and harmful lives. Also, my parents think the bible is pretty much full of shit and is terribly dated. Basically, there are some rational christians out there.
The ones that get shit are teh ones that preach about the bible and bring it up all the time. Like these people who bring up the bible during an argument as if it's some valid proof of some sort. "Well the bible says this and this and this so this is right becasue the bible says so". It's not a valid source in an argument. The sooner some people realize this, the better.

You are right in a sense, that just stating the bible states whatever does not prove it. However at the same time if somebody asks the basis for somebodies belief etc and they say because the bible states such and such, then it what it is. The bible is the source of their beliefs.

Christians that take the bible and think its full of it and out dated? How does that make sense? What is a christian other that a follower of christ? and if your a follower of christ what does that mean other than someone who takes the teachings from jesus from the new testament bible and applys them to their life. So how is a person that says they follow something but yet denies its accuracy or that its relevant rational?
I would say if a person is truly walking in a christian faith based walk you will see them acting according to their teacher jesus christ. If you see a christian that says "hey your gay your going to hell," they are not practicing those who have not sinned cast the first stone. If they say i will pray for you though it is my own personal belief what you are doing is wrong but i will pray for you and if you ever need me let me know i am there for you, that seems more in the accordance of christ.
Like you did say though there are radicals in every form of religeon, but know if a christian is acting a way towards you as judging bigoted and hatefilled they are not following the christian teachings.
The KKK is an all white protestant organization. How the hell could consider them not Christian? They won't allow anyone of any other religion or color to join.

afro cheese jesus taught about all these different people of differnet ethnic backgrounds passed a man that was beat up on the side of the road. A gentile stopped and helped the man. Jesus said he did the right thing, not because he was a gentile, but because what was in his heart.
If a christian is someone who follows the teachings of christ and the kkk do not accept other ethnic backgrounds would you not say that is a direct contradiction of what a "christian " would be?

They recognize all of the nonsense in the bible - The hypocricies and such, but they still believe in the basic teachings and beliefs (be a good person, be nice to people, lead a good life, respect people, blah blah blah.) They believe Christ is their lord and savior and all that, they just don't take every word int eh bible as fact, and they don't agree with a lot of the minor things that a lot of "hardcore" christians believe for no other reason then because it's in the bible.
A Christian(these days at least) isn't someone who practices the teaching of Christ, a Christian is anyone who believes Christ to exist and the Bible to be the actual Word of God. You don't have to be a good person to be Christian, just like you don't have to be a good person to be Muslim or Jewish. Religious affiliation is one's choice in belief, not the apperances of one's actions.
Hitler, the KKK and a wide myraid(spelling...?) of people considered to be evil have on more than one occasion declared themselves Christian. The fact that they did(or do) things that are/were atrocious does not take away from the fact of what they believed to be true.
I must quote Robin Williams.
And God said, "Let there be light!" Could this be a metaphor for the big bang, the creation of the earth? Conservatives say, "No, God just went *click*"
Sorry, just had to interject.

Tell that to the KKK, not us.

I'll agree with you on the last part, but it still might offend the person, so it *might* be considered throwing the first stone. Depends.

I think you have a right to your own belief that the bible is nonsense. We live in a free country and you have a free will and i never think that anyone should be forced to do what they don't want to. But the title of this post is " Why must everyone critisize christians for their faith"
Because you don't agree with the faith does not mean you have to critisize a member who is "hardcore" and takes christs teachings seriosley and literal. That is their perogitive. You certainly don't have a problem with their freedom to excercise their faith the way they wish without constant harrassment and critisism. There is no reason to belittle someones faith and religeon.
But on the flip side they do not have the right to judge and condemn you either but to be your brother and show you mercy as christ instructed. If they politley ask you may i share my faith with you and you say no they have the obligation to respect your wishes.

If you deeply care for somebody and you percieve that what they are doing at the time is wrong do you say something to them with love or do you remain silent? I am not talking about cramming something down somebodys throat. It is not throwing a stone, its holding out a hand.
Now the discussion of wether being gay is wrong or right here in not the topic, the topic is if a person strongly believing in a certain way notices someone doing something they percieve to be wrong, woudn't it be love not hate to reach out to them and explain that is what they feel but ultimatley it is the persons choice. Not judging not harrassing merley being there as a brother or sister. If the person they are speaking to says i would appreciate it if you don't tell me that agin then the person has done everything they can do with love in that situation. But afterwards the person of the belief should still be their for the person and be a friend and not look at them with a judging eye.
I have a bisexual female friend who, from my understanding, has had "christian" friends find out she was bisexual and then ignore her afterwards. That is not christian love. She knowing i was a christian asked if i judged her for being gay at some point. I told her it is my belief that sex outside of marriage is a sin and to be with someone of the same gender is a sin, but i also told her i love her as a friend and to judge her for that would be putting myself higher than she is and that i am not.
I believe in my faith 100 percent. The teachings i read from by christ i believe in 100 percent. If you don't believe in the same thing i respect that and i respect your free will.
Science is meant to change when something new comes along. When we find adequate explination for the Big Bang, be sure that science will change drastically. That is of course, unless you already haven't spoken to The Omega(a professional physicist). Her explination of the Big Bang is a total mind****.
Check the evolution thread.
