Why is it so F#$#@@@!!! hard to live in this world?

Rainy days, Warm knights.

We see so alike, you and I, it scares me and shakes my core,
You laugh at my chivalry, and appreciate me holdin' the door,

Laughing like loons at our goofy actions so funny and just the same,
And now I think back of watching you want to weep with this rain,
It drives daggers in me.

I told you and true to my word I am here, standing tall and proud,
I'd like to drive away all your fear, and go dancing apon this cloud,
Come away with me.

I shed acidic tears for your pain, I wish I could hold you close to me,
And fly away to another plane, one where you could rest easy,
Fly away now with me.

If you aren't careful and If I'm not too I'll sacrifice it all for you,
And what then I may ask it doesn't matter if I'm still here with you,
Staying here with me.

I promise this, as you have seen, I will always be the knight.
I will hold you when you are shaking; it may not be wrong or right,
Just hang onto me.

When you shiver and grit teeth against biting cold trying to hide the pain,
You forget that I see through all lies and I'll warm you up again,
Holding you to me.

If you ever see this, you may know who it's for.
But I don't think you will ever open up that door.
So here lies my heart tried and true,
KMC, it is bared open to you,
I have found a match, the center of being,
But can she see without seeing?

And the confusion of it all that courses through my veins
Is worse and greater than the best drugs and birth pains.

Am I losing it am I finally going mad?
