It takes alot to make me stunned,
And You did it easily hun.
You rode my wings into my dreams,
Seeing my love, hearing my screams
Seeing my private war fought hard,
Feeling the bleeding and the scars,
You have gone somewhere so few have been,
You have been inside this gentleman,
Past the barriers I willingly let down,
And in the emotions you did not drown,
You were able to sift through fiction and fact,
And THEN you were still strong enough to act,
This amazes me and sends me speechless,
You saw me at the worst and the best,
And rose above the tidal waves of pain
That have burst upon my soulshore again and again,
You have described vividly,
As if you have my memory,
And in closing I just say,
Come back again, come in and stay.
For The Lady Amber, one of few who can see through poems.
