** The MISUNDERSTOOD Religon **

The issue is that scripture is not the word of God. It is the writing of men that heard the word of God. The only portion I have heard of as being directly written by God, and not told and then written, would be Moses' telling of how the stone tablets came into being. Everything else is man's written account of what happened. Being inspired to write something and told each and every word to write are very different things.

To qualify this against those that claim the bible is God's word direct, they also claim Christ is the Word of God, there is no reason to believe the Bible is the Word that was claimed to be infallible.

Same question would apply to Christians.

There hasn't been such a thing as "honor killing" in any mainstream sect of Judaism for over two millenia.
You could say that the Kachanist terrorist groups in Israel have such a concept, but apart from some brutal killings of palastinians in the past, their recent efforts have been more targeted at using weapons of mass destruction on other Jews in order to blame arab terrorists and start an all out war of attrition.

I have a feeling tho, that Maham and some of the less enlightened individuals discussing this thread are gonna get into all those Christian invented myths like "blood libel" and other falsehoods that have generally been used as an excuse for halfwits to commit acts of mass extermination for the last 3 millenia or so.
