I am trying desperately to give your intellect the benefit of the doubt but it seems that doubt is outweighing everything else. What you say and what I have said (am saying) are two different things. I am not talking about "character flaws" with regard to our parents. In Adam's case I am talking about a "spiritual" something. But in our parents case I was just using that as an "analogy" to illustrate spiritual truth. I am not saying that if your daddy was an alcoholic (for example) that you are going to end up as one. But if your parents had some genetic trait, yes that can be passed on to you. Remember I started out talking about Adam and sin, so that is the premise. Don't get off on tangents get back to the original premise because that is the context with which to understand everything else subsequent to it.
Question my intellect all you want, you are the one saying these things not I. Weird isn't it? You say it, yet I am responsible for the lunacy of it?
I asked you this:

You answered with this:

Yeah, it makes perfect sense.
and this: (to my above question)

Hypothetically speaking if your parents had some type of communicable disease or medical problem that "runs in the family" guess what? It is highly probable that you will inherit that problem. Have you ever heard of male-pattern baldness? Just another for instance of something that can pass from generation to generation (perhaps skip one or more). Genetics is a powerful thing as well. Children are a composite of their parents chromosomes and other transferable characteristics. Right? Right! So it is not inconceivable that spiritual things can also be transferred (either blessings or curses). It is all in the Bible .
I suggest you mean what you say and you say what you mean.

I was referring to the summary that I gave with regard to Adam and sin, not to what you said.

To summarize: Adam, as the first man, represented all of humanity. As Adam goes, so goes the rest of us. Adam's sin let death into the world (that is why we die). Sin's penalty is death (the wages of sin is death). We are all descendants of Adam and Eve. Adam's sin "nature" as it were passed to everyone, and so death (sin's consequence) was also passed onto us.

See the connection now. What I wrote sounds logical and makes perfect sense, not your response to what I wrote.

I must be speaking vulcan, martian, or some other unintelligible language...or...perhaps you all or just not capable of understanding me. But I will choose the former explanation and all the blame. I did not say that "everything" in your body is affected. Did I D. Kreiger?

Regardless, we are back to the same place... If Adam is great (x100+/-?) grandfather to us all then his sins now become ours and that makes perfect sense to you... Personally, I find it offensive that I am being accused and being held accountable of something my great (x100+/-?) grandfather did 6k years (Earth's age by your accounts, I disagree) before I was born.
Is incest a sin? Because Adam and Eve would have had to fornicate (isn't fornication a sin too?) with their own offspring and in turn those offspring would had had to have incest sex (more fornication) with each other so on and so forth.

Don't take issue with me, I am just quoting the Bible. So if you want to vent your spleen I recommend you do so elsewhere. Hey, don't shoot the messenger.

Listen, don't beat people over the head with the Bible and try to pass your own personal faith as fact and then dance like a monkey* around an organ grinder crying foul when you're cornered by your own ignorance.

Now THAT was funny! You made me laugh with the whole, "...dance like a monkey* around an organ grinder...." I knew you had it in you to be funny. It just took a little coaxing on my part.

Sad thing is, I was correct on all accounts. Mind you, I do not hate or even dislike you with those faults.

"...beat people over the head with the Bible...." I just do not concur with you guys' characterizations about me. How can quoting a Scripute in support of what I believe (something that I have been doing since day one) be a violent act (figuratively or literally) when that is not what I am doing? You guys use links and other things in quasi support of what you believe and I use the Bible. I must be missing something here. It seems that we both refer to something in support of what we believe regardless of what that something is. I have never accused you guys of beating me over or any other christian over the head with your quasi facts, have I?

Because you try to pass off your faith as fact, when faith has absolute zero foundation. Your faith is only useful to one person on this entire planet, I'm sure you can guess who that person is.
Mind you, telling people they are going to hell (be punished) for not believing in your faith is the literal equivalent of 'beating people over the head'.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures ,

Me and the other 2.1 billion christians in the world? Oh, sorry you said "1" person, my bad.
Eureka! I finally figured out what the problem is: semantics. I (let me use my very best, scholary, grammar) AIN'T never said that anyone was going to Hell for not believing in my faith (my personal faith). But I have simply reported as it were what the Bible says "on" the subject. Big, Grand Canyon-size difference. No? No?
