ppl for the most part are comprising thier entire team of ppl who could go one on one with thanos but its still cool. pure strengh alone isnt gonna work against him, and pure energy weilding wont do it eighter but a brash mixture of both...

Jonn telepathically removes hulks inhibitions while implanting a false memory of thanos and his doppelgangers G. Banging betty making him supery dupery mad.

Hulk just goes apeshit all over the place and work on the shield. the Gl stands back and tries to match Thanos cosmic blasts while, willing an extra forcefield around his team mates, for you just know that Doom will already have provided one for each of them.

Doom fires blasts at him, while using the telepathic link Jonn has established to communicate battle plans. for the most part warlock knows he can just end it all by stealing Thanos soul, but he knows that with a person so evil, claiming such a soul would drive him insane, possibly killing him.(like what nearly happened when he absorbed one of thanos doppelgangers)

while thanos is busy Jonn becomes immaterial and bypasses his forcefield and
A: TRY to fry his brains(after realizing that thanos is a formidable telelpath in his own right.
B:do that kitty pride thing and snatch out his heart/brain/lungs/kideys

if all else fail Jonn joins hulk in the battering. at this point not only would thanos shileds have worn down but hulk should be at mountain lifting strengths cuz he just keeps gettin madder, just the thought of all those thanoses putting a "tippy tyne" on Betty just drives him insane.

Warlock gets his blast in hear and there, Gl just create energy constructs of giant fists and sledgehammers bashing him, zatanna still conjures big fat cocks, and million ton objects, Doom plays to type and has something slick up his sleeve to do against his teammates but Jonn already has the drop on him. at this point Thanos is signifcantly weakned and taking a knee, but he gets right back up and re-charges himself with a bath of cosmic energy.

seeing that hope is dim our heroes try to play a psychological game. Doom being a smart Guy, instructs Jonn to telepathically let thanos thinks he has killed him, then both he and Zatanna use thier magics to cast a spell around Jonn to make his presence invisible to thanos(like what Strange did in IG)

jonn shape shifts and re-apperas as the female embodiment of Death herself distracting the hell outta thanos. he says, "long have i waited for your embrace" foolishly lets his shields down and let himself be distracted. Jonn asks him to quit. realizing that is something death would never say he sees the trap, too late however for they all gang up on him weakening him yet again.

but once agin the fact that he cant die he just recharges. at this point Warlock realizes that the universe is at stake so he just says screw it, soul stealing time. not worrying about what might happen to himself Boom! he absorbs thanos soul. but as was theorized thanos soul is too much for him and the fact that he is immortal it should have been impossible anyway. thanos indomitable will tries to override the soul gem, realizing that there isnt much time left. warlock instructs Doom and Zatanna to use thier magic, along with GLs energy to create an in escapable pocket dimesion in which to cast his body that way if thanos soul does
A:escape
B: take over his body
they both would be trapped. Boom! they do just that and thats the end of thanos....finally!

As the battle weary heroes collect themselves they look around and realize that one of thier teammates are missing, DOOM! he quickly teleported from the battle grounds along with Thanos souless body

Cut Scene: doom's castle, he enjoys a glass of wine and a soak in his royal tub with thanos body in a glass case in a lab

Close Up: thanos left eye gleams with red energy

They've developed machines that can "turn off" the mutant gene temporarily....so almost any mutant is a liability. Hulk would be gone quick.

Warlock isn't above Skyfather so you're ok there....and he's actually a decent pick.

It's been pointed out, but you have 6 people. Limit 5 (heroes too).

MM wouldn't be able to just phase through Thanos. Vision has the same power in Marvel, and any being with immensely dense body matter is a problem. Vision had problems doing it to the Hulk, so unless MM is light-years beyond Vision in this department (he isn't) he wouldn't just phase...Thanos is crazy-invulnerable...much denser than anything MM has phased through before.

MM becoming Death is a novel idea, but it's Thanos with the prep...how would MM know that? Warlock could tell him but Thanos would know something was up at that point, so it wouldn't work.

i already made adjustments omitting GL and change Doom to Reed. im willing to say that MM is far beyond Vision. the thing is tho Thanos is stupidly in love with Death even after she hurt his feelings so i think he would be distracted even for a little, if nothing else works😉

Prometheus is pretty damn smart. He can live in limbo out of space/time and he studies everything about you before battle (basically batman + Dr Doom.)

Green Lantern protects them. Strange uses magic to augment the shields.

Forges power is to basically create anything he can think of right? He also has that weird soul sucking power. Prometheus has him create the ultimate nullifier.

Lobo is a wildcard, barring that wolverine fight 🙄 the guy is pretty damn indestructable and immortal.

Thanos has the prep time...not your team. So building an ultimate nullifier is probably out of the question (unless he did it during the fight...unlikely at best). Prometheus also wouldn't get a chance to study anything...only what he previously knows.

All said, Thanos with his prep would probably own this team. It's lacking in a few departments.

Thats actually why I put prometheus in there. Since they would have no prep, a character who could step out of the regular time is a huge boost, especially since he can do this to others on a whim. He could throw forge in there or even thanos in there to get the prep time.

Hmm...that's an interesting concept. Bring in a time-manipulator for instant prep-time.

wouldn't Thanos be prepared for this possible "time step out" and have some kind of field to block it?..... or a way to travel to wherever Prometheus goes?.....can't Thanos' chair already do stuff like that?
