Book Six : Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince [merged]

Who said the HBP is even alive? it could be some guy that died ages ago........

I have a feeling it's someone we already know. Someone totally unexpected!!!

Definitely NOT Neville (and as JKR said it's neither Harry, nor Voldemort)...

I am thinking that our detectives that remembered that Hagrid's mother was Queen......... have figured out who the HBP is.

I was thinking Mark Evans and a whole other theory tying voldy with harry as in relation.

But now it's obvious that it is Hagrid. If his mom was queen then of course he is a PRINCE.

We also know that in book 6 Hagrid will still be trying to get the other giants to join Dumbledore's side.

HEY....what if the HBP is Hagrid's brother...I think his name was GRAWP!!!

Grawp had a small part in OOTP.

Maybe GRAWP & Hagrid suceed in getting the giants on the good side.

I like the idea of hagrid being the prince. but there is still the thing aboue finding out he was a half breed in the 4th book, not the 2nd

hmm...well first off, do you think its true? 4 -5 months?!?! 😱 wow, that would be AWESOME! i'm just trying not to get my hopes up...cuz shes always telling us not to believe anything we hear, unless its on her sight...but it still got me excited! 😄

and as for the HBP...Hagrid is an interesting thought. Cuz he did play a big part in CoS, and i think we've really gotta look for our clues there. These other half blood characters have possibilities, but some weren't introduced till later...so i don't know. The only thing i'm positive about is that the HBP is somebody we already know...

By the way people YES IT IS TRUE, releasing in end of november- december, but the day is not yet fixed, and she's completed the book, so the publishing will take that much time.... And how much do u think she'll have earned uptill now?

Hmm half blood prince.. first time im hearing of it, but then again i havent been to these forums in ages either. Wouldnt have any idea who it is referring to, might even be a new character all together for all we know. Im pretty sure sirius will be back in one form or the other, his 'death' seemed too premature. Hope it does indeed release around November.

we ourselves dont who is HBP.. 🙁 we r tryin to figure it out

Shanie. It's in OOTP during the time that Harry is still at privet drive. Maybe somewhere between chapters 1-3?

If Hagrid is half wouldn't grawp still be half...even though he looks nothing like Hagrid. They are brothers...so how could 1 be half and the other not?

I think in COS there is something MINOR about Hagrid being in there OR I think it has to do with the fact that Lord V didn't want to kill lily. BECAUSE remember in book 6 we are still supposed to find something HUGE things about Lily. The HBP could still be mark evans!!!! Hey........Petunia could have had an affair.......THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS!! But... I dunno............................ What if Aunt & Uncle Dursley had a child who was born magical and they sent it away? Harry was locked in the closet alot so he may not have known...(that idea is far fetched...but you never know)

Maybe the twist in Harry Potter 2 may come back to HBP..u know how Tom Riddle was young and blah blah....well maybe there might be some time traveling happenin in the next book...like maybe the Half Blood Prince is a young Voldermort...just guessin tho.....i dont know aye...my minds basically open to any story right now....but ive been reading through the forum and theres alot of cool and interesting ideas......

but you know what i really really wanna see in the next book.....for PERCY to apologize to his parents...i know if i read it im gonna get shivers of happiness running down my spine 😄 lol....he makes me mad how he treated his family 😠 lol

The way Hagrid can be half and Grawp full is that they had 2 different fathers, making them half brothers, its in OotP during the chapter where Grawp is intro'd

SO Hagrid I guess would lead an army of Giants to destroy the datrk Lord, all of them under the command of Captain Ronald Weasley!

i think the halfblood prince is either seamus or lupin. but i'm leaning more towards lupin.

OK, I know everybody will probably have a good laugh at this, but I'm re-reading CoS and guessing wildly that the Half-Blood Prince is...

I mean, JKR said "something (or someone) seemingly small and insignificant in book 2 will play a big part in book 6" -- so why not him right? He could be a Prince during his lifetime... crazy but possible, right?

Maybe he will lead Harry to the "Hogwarts graveyard" and show him James and Lily Potter's grave. The ending of book 5 suggests that Harry is full of eagerness to find more about ghosts and might want to talk to Sir Nicholas again..

hm, some that played a small part in CoS ... the only one I remember is no one else then Dobby !
