If you read JK's notes about Dean Thomas I think she mentioned that he is a half blood.

yes but it can't be Dean because she didn't put his information in the book. Instead she put in Nevills which she said is more importent to the plot line

Well, we don't know who it is so what do people think the Half Blood Prince will be able to do? Will he help harry or will he help voldermort? Just because he is a prince doesn't mean it has to be a good guy.....

Maybe it could be peter pettigrew, Dumbledore said something before to Harry after he saved his life i think that there is now a connection between him and peter and that one day pettigrew would repay the debt. Well what if he is the prince and helps Harry? I know that idea sucks but it was just a thought........don't hurt metomato

I know Tass. I was just thinking of the pleasure to see Draco finding out that he is Halfblood (if Narcisa let say has cheated Luciouse with a royal Muggle, lets say Prince Charls Windsor 🙂 )

As for the side that the halfblood prince would take, it has to be Harry's side cause Voldemort can not stand halfblood, remember he wants to vanish them all!

yep, Draco looks like Luciouse, but you should not ignore the possibility of Narcisa using a charm/spell on Draco to look like his father....
This is just a weird theory I have recently developed, not that I beleive in it, but I just want to say how interesting thing would turn, because then if Draco finds that he is everything he disgussed all his life, he might turn to be Harry's frined !... and the book would be boring 🙂

haha, it would indeed!! and i read something, probably a rumour, that draco helps harry against voldy (just read it somewere) what if voldy kills lucius and then draco gets on harry's side...... 😄

Yeah, Hagrid might be the halfblood prince, we don't have any halfbloods left. I don't think Seamus will be that, he's not a main character. But it can be Lupin. Okay, I know he can't but hey, he's halfblood as well - in an other way.

Sorry again, but if it's about theories, Sirius is the first thing that comes into my mind. I think many of us is re-reading Book 2 to find out what will happen in Book 6. Gotta find a small thing in that which can be big in this. Maybe it's Riddle's diary. Know it's not unimportant but I think about the way it works. Maybe Sirius left something somewhere that can bring him back like the diary brought back Riddle.

I read the first seven pages of this thread. Someone said Ron might betray Harry. He would never ever betray Harry. I know Ron's neither smart nor rich but he's got a huge heart. He's not Pettigrew. Even though Ron is... well, not so brave, he'd never betray any of his friends.

Could it be true?! Book 6:Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince -- will be out -- 4 or 5 months from now... that's November or December 2004!

I TOTALLY AGREE with you.Ron can NEVER betray harry.I have complete faith in him... 🙂
