Star Wars doesn't seem to focus too much on ships like Star Trek does which leads me to believe Trek has the advantage there. You don't see just plain shields and plain laser cannons and plain torpedos. You have multiple kinds and types of weaponry . People who hack the shield frequencies so their weapons pass right through and people who modify tech on the fly to do things like trigger openings in an opponents ship's systems.
But on the flip side, Star Wars has the pretty wicked ground forces, like everybody pretty much agrees on. There isn't just a group of guys in the mustard colored suits firing from behind the rocks.
It's just a shame SWs don't have transporters.

Well the Ewoks are to primitive to be considered a worthy addition to the Borg Collective, so if this fur balls attack the Borg they would just blats them not assimilating them.

Super star destroyers are cool and all but you put 8-16 of those tactical cubes together and look out! According to the ST "EU" they can just keep combining and combining and also make in the end different shapes etc....If I remember right they can make Super Huge diamonds and such...I really thought at first without Q ST lost this battle...but the more I think on it and now that my ROTS excitements is toned down a bit...lol....ST could really really give SW universe run for there money...The borg adaptation just takes the cake...I mean the armor on SW would be very well defended against borg initial attacks....kind of like voyagers armor in the last voyager episode etc....but the borg adapt...then the planet eater...a deathstar couldnt phase it...deathstar would be a good meal though Im sure...a genesis wave would destroy everything in its path.....in favor of its new matirx...lol....thalion radition its badass....That gigantic ass cell that sucks the energy out of everything...Jedi vs Apollo the greek God...Or the ESP freaks Jedi would really have a hard time with them...they are very comparable to force powers but even more so...sept they dont fight so well when they get weak and dont have lightsabers...lol.....but when they arent weakend a lightsaber coudnt scracth the ESP freaks....this is all official series or movie stuff not borg EU the list can continue and just friggin continue ST has so many different badass weapons and people.....Rodenberry had more of a mix than Lucas this much is certain....But you know what SW ultimate weapon is?.......I dont know if anything in ST could take this weapon....some of you are gonna hate this but its our only hope! Of the second or the first? The first takes some time a few minutes and needs to cool down or something.. The second can fire a lot faster and more often, according to Starwars.com
Btw a superstardestroy is only 12 kilometers and already a lot bigger then a borg cube, the second death star was 160 kilometers in diameter. A borg cude would fade into nothing compared to that thing. The first death star was only 120 kilomters but still a lot bigger then a Borg Cube and a super star destroyer.
The second didn't take extremly long nor did the first... When the order was givne to destroy Alderaan it was blown away in seconds...
The second Death star shot faster and more often then the first that much is certain but the first wasn't weak either. The reason it took so long before it fired on Yavin was because it wasn't in range yet.
