but the technology would be really far behind then wouldnt it? blaster fire power.......etc...hull strengths...(just guessing that they would improve alot)
Not really, the Rakatan times were 25.000 years before Kotor and their ships still managed to surpass Republic ships of that time, they were really ahead of their time of course.
Only thing is I hate post ROTJ NJO sucks balls..
And indeed there isn't a lot known about the Rakatan except for that they ruled the universe their most basic technology's weren't copied until thousands of years later. Their technology regenerates they were with billions upon billions they all have the force they use the Dark Side and that they have a powerful weapons plant that can create a ship in second with almost no resources..
Any real things about their fights we do not and can not know, we do know their force power had to be great because no races could challenge them that includes the Sith and a lot of other force sensitives, maybe those didn't get any training so that is perhaps a wrong thing to say. They also used the force to power their ships to make them fly faster then anything else at that time and they still had hyperspace engines...
Thats all we know nothing substential really but enough to convince me that they could own everybody from later ages of SW... If not by being more powerful then just by putting a droid in a ship and ramming the enemy 😛

As far as action and general exitement in watching either of them, I would say Star Wars is way cooler. Who could win in a space battle, a Federation starship or a Super Star Destroyer?
Star Trek is generally superior as far as detail and technology. Granted there is no Force in Trek and that is a serious hit against its coolness. However, the deflector shield of a Federation ship can protect against the most deadly shot fired from a Star Destroyer. The small burst of energy could do nothing, except maybe lower the shields .00001%. In Trek there is little (if any) mistakes in continuity, except for the Original Series, that was a bad time. In The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine and Enterprise (only the two former are actually good) every technological facet is explained in detail. Did Star Wars ever explain how the X foils needed to be in attack posistion to fire? Not really. Then again, Star Trek has the time to explain it when they have 5 TV series, averageing about 5 years per show, and 10 movies.
Fishy you just like the rakatans cause they are fishy type folk...lol....
as I understand they would undo themselves anyway in a battle like we speak of cause of the thing called star forge? But could you imagine if the borg got there hands on that or joined the rakata though......woof...now there is an idea the borg being non force users(so they could control it without being thrown into chaos like the rakata folk) use and control the star forge and keep the rakatan people away from it so it doesnt consume them...hmm you could be onto something... indeed you may...
