and anytime we (SW fans) claim dominance courtesy of firepower, numbers, etc.... ST fans come back with their technology speech and how SW fails in that event.
But....
SW wins because Nature wins over Technology. Proof? Luke used the Force to take out the first Death Star, not his scopes.
The ewoks defeated the Imps with nature and sheer cunning (and clever cinematography).
In Trek, battles are won not just because of their vessels, but the captains at the helm that help carry the ship and its crew to victory.
Trek is good when it comes to stories delving into the human spirit, but SW wins because its a reinvention of mythological stories for our generation and the next. Will Trek have the staying power for centuries to come? Kirk is a tribute to Horatio. But Star Wars, without a doubt, will go on forever.
My two cents.
Now I'm going to go watch Phantom Menace again, and turn down the volume when Jar-Jar comes on screen (he sound's like Howie Mandel talking like Bobby from Bobby's World.)
some star trek characters can do just about any damn thing and Im not even including Q.....anyone ever read the star trek meets xmen comic? Thats one guy who could wipe out even NJO Luke.....although Kirk never gave him time to advance in his powers the rate he advances is ridiculous....I really have come to believe that with all the jedi and sith they(SW) could stalemate ST but thats about it.......if they are lucky....just to much omnipotent power in ST....almost makes the force seem impotent...lol....although the force in could be construed as omnipotent if someone actually could trully master it.....anyways I say stalemate...

ok now I think we all have established that in space the 2 universes have tied (though I only read to page 5) but what about a ground battle with no space support.Bassically star wars wins even if they had no jedi/sith. They even could win without bountyhunters and mercs at this point becuse of many reasons. 1 wookies tear of limbs 2 ewoks good with trees 3 empire, rebels, cis, republic all have tons of vehicles and units to fight with 4 star trek sucks when on ground 5 the republic has commandos (rom the game star wars republic commandos) like delta squad 6 mandalorians 7 the twi'lek dancers good probally distract a good amount of soldiers 8 some people use vibro blades (metal lightsabers)
now if anyone has a counter to that by all means type
dude klingons romulans and vulcans are expert hand to hand fighters....and federationfolk are trained in different fighting styles.......I admit borg arent that good but let a wookie tear off a borg implant and the gets stuck and assimilated by another borg..lol....you are just way off here guessing because you havent seen enough star trek....Im giving a stalemate on ground also.....

vulcans are not that stupid...logic dictates...lol...if this fugger really wants his azz handed to em then comply I must! AT AT Set a phaser on overload and throw it at em....lol....counter for everything...only reason Im defending trek at moment is no trek defenders really.....I love em both......everyone talks about armor.....trek voyagers last episode.....new armor cant scratch the hull.....if trek verse went against wars verse then they would adapt as the borg say......ground air whatever SW throws ST will counter...whatever trek throws SW will figure something out using what they got...lol....somebody write some stories on this where the hell is TRS?! need a drink🍺 Queeq pass one!
