Halo is an alright game, I don't have a lot of confidence in the movie. Game to movie adaptations are never very good. Trek poses the ultimate threat against Star Wars.
Capitan Picard is cool. Data is all kinds of bad ass. Q rules. That's about it for Trek. Except that I would definitly do Seven of Nine Tercherary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero-One.
I dont know, the combined numbers of the covenant and human fleets equal about 2300 before the war- that matches the Yuzhaan Vong invasion fleet.... And Halo universe defense/weapon systems are very powerful (Mac Guns, huge death-star-sized battle stations, slipspace vs. hyperspace...), not to mention the halos themselves and forerunners as well as any other species in the halo universe. They might have a chance against the starwars...

If you're going to make lewd comments, at least spell her name right.
As much as I love Halo, we don't know a lot about their capabilities. We've only ever seen two of the races (well, the covenant is made up of several races, but they all have the same tech), and we have no idea what a Forerunner vessel is capable of. If every Halo went off simultaneously, which is possible, it is unlikely that anyone would survive. Unfortunately, that includes the Halo-ites and various, friendly organisms.
The Pillar of Autumn is supposed to be a couple kilometers long or something like that (somewhere between 1 and 2 kms), and some Covenant ships are even longer. The beam weapons look powerful, but appearances can be deceiving. Although, even the Covenant seem to be stuck using nuclear weapons.
If SW and Halo had the same number of ground troops, I would have to vote for Halo (on the ground anyways). At the very least, I would hope that they would win. Btw, the Prophet of Regret's Flagship is soooooo SWEEET!!

HAHAHA!!! That's awesome! Why, cuz a computer generated picture shows a handful of ancient Federation ships losing to a single Star Destroyer?
Originally posted by Lord ChariolI wasn't referring to you directly, Chariol. Since you've come to the light I was led to believe we would never speak of the holed arguments you were involved in, while you were a Trekkie. And who is this "Devoted Trekkie"? He sounds like a loser. I mean reading books and watching a show diligently is one thing, not leaving your house is something else.
I know all my arguments were full of holes, I guess I wasn't a true beleiver.I am sure a devoted trekkie could blow holes in any Star Wars argument though.
I know of only one "Devoted Trekkie," only one who can bend it to his will, and he does not leave his house.

Does ST still get TOTALLY crushed if you include all of their "cheap tricks?" I don't expect ST to win in just ship-ship combat, but I believe they would be more than a minor nuisance to SW. I think it would be a complete war involving nearly every ship on both sides, and plenty of destruction to go around.
As I see it though, there are a few aforementioned "cheap tricks" that would SEEM to all but guarantee victory for ST. However, these are few and far between. If you simply use aggregate power as a measure of victory, or it's just a battle of numbers, not an actual war, then ST would be crushed.
