KOTOR III

hahaha. that's funny. But i ope everyone understands that the MMO is the most likely path for the game by now. If I was laid off from Lucas Arts, I'd tell everyone about secret projects and I wouldn't leave anything out. I would say that it's probably close to a 90% chance that K3 would be an MMO (if it comes out at all).

I don't really like MMOs, and I still have the idea that it would be plain stupid to leave a story with such potential incomplete.

They better not make it an MMO. Honestly, I always have preferred offline games and even when there is multiplayer, I play the campaign and whatnot more. So this would depress me. And kudos to this guy:

I, personally, haven't seen or even heard of one actually making a difference other than uselessly using up internet space. Big waste of time, if you ask me.

and yea, ever since halo 3 ive seen (im not kidding) around 20 seperate petitions for a halo 4

It is not unlikely that there will be some sort of follow up on Halo 3. Nor is it unlikely that there will be a Kotor III. Quite the contruary.

However, I would not hold my breath in wait for either one.

You know, I wouldn't be pissed if there was zero graphical improvement. I wouldn't be pissed if there were small plot holes here and there. I just want to play a game that is very similar to both of the other two and i want the story to be wrapped up in an entertaining way. Level design shouldn't be a problem. Game mechanics shouldn't either because "it's been done already".

This is what I am hoping: That the MMO is NOT Kotor 3, but just an MMO set in either the Mandalorion wars or time of Kotor 1.

Personaly, I think that they are waiting for Kotor 3 untill "The Drew" is finished with Mass Effect so that he can write it, and the MMO is more of something to keep the Hardcore fans pacified.

If they let this game, with such potential, slip away, they just make themselves seem like total idiots.

I dont remember where i heard or read it but they said the mmo isnt going to be the next kotor just set in that time period and that kotor 3 is a seperate game but that coulda just been rumors =/
