I live here in Nevada, and it's pretty much a 1 to 5 ratio here with guns. 1 out 5 adults here own guns. Nevada in general has a low crime rate with guns if you minus Las Vegas. Nevada is an open carry state and it's pretty much kept the crime rate low in Northern Nevada. I have a CCW(concealed weapons permit). I own a few guns. Guns aren't insane. It's the retards who use them for stupid reasons that are insane.
what do you mean by "Low crime rate with guns"? how many gun crimes were there last year?
i never said guns were insane..... but i think that letting almost anyone have access to them is
is there really a need for there to be a law that lets anyone carry a weapon that can kill anyone they meet?
this is the critera i found on that permit you have:
Are residents of Nevada
At least 21 years of age
Are not a convicted felon in any jurisdiction
Do not suffer from any mental illness
Are not an illegal alien
Shows competence in handling a firearm by completing an approved firearms safety-training program that meets the minimum state requirements
found this:
"Federal Gun Crime Prosecutions Have Increased Significantly Every Year Under Project Safe Neighborhoods. From FY 2000 to FY 2003, federal firearms prosecutions increased by 68 percent. In FY 2003, the Justice Department filed over 10,500 federal firearms cases—the highest number ever recorded by the Department. The number of defendants charged with federal gun crimes rose from approximately 10,600 to over 13,000 from FY 2002 to FY 2003, a record increase of almost 23 percent"
