Pleading
I thought I had no more tears,
Well that’s just a joke,
A big horrible joke,
Because now they’re falling,
All of a sudden,
Out of no where,
And I don’t if they’ll stop.
I want to get over you,
I really, really do,
But I just can’t,
I don’t know what to do,
This is driving me crazy,
Making me an emotional wreck,
I want it to finally end,
But I don’t know how,
Just please make it stop.

Great poem, it perfectly conveys the emotion of greivance.
Here's one I started a while ago, and happened to finish recently:
Drowning
Drowning,
I try to surface,
I manage to,
But then I sink,
Back to the bottom,
Can’t get back up,
I’m stuck here,
Waiting for the end,
As I suffocate,
Can’t get any air,
I begin to panic,
Flailing my limbs,
Eyes wide in terror,
Though I see nothing,
Where’s the surface?
Can’t tell what’s up,
Can’t tell what’s down,
I don’t want to die,
I’m too young to die,
My vision fades,
Starts to go black,
Then there’s light…
I bolt upright,
Sitting up in bed,
My heart pounding,
My chest heaving,
I clutch the blankets,
My mind still stuck,
Inside that dream,
That awful dream,
It seemed so real,
Like I was there,
And I was dying,
I shiver in fear,
And lay awake,
Fearful of sleep,
And just what,
It might bring me.
And some random stuff I did a while ago:
Your true love may be gone,
But other loves are still there,
If you but reach out,
You’ll find the comfort you seek.
Locking everyone else out,
Only locks yourself in;
Learn to live again,
Or pine yourself away,
Either way, you must never,
Ever give up the struggle.
Always have faith,
For although the sun does set,
And the moon begins to rise,
It always comes back,
To chase the shadows away.
A cry of pain,
More felt than heard,
Pierces the silence of the night.
It was all in vain,
And now it seems absurd,
And given up has she the fight.
A tear, like the rain,
Forms at a single word,
Blocking out her sight.
It’s driving everyone insane,
Everyone’s as jittery as a bird,
And they quake at her unknown might.
Many nights alone she’s lain,
Her sobbing has gone unheard,
She cannot find the light.

Confusion
How I long for the bliss of dreams,
Where I do not have to think,
Where I do not have to feel,
Where everything is as I want it,
And I don’t have to face the world I know,
But only the one that I create,
Because my mind spins so fast now,
And I don’t know where to look,
For there is just so much happening,
I don’t know where to even begin,
To try and sort all of this stuff out,
It is all jumbled inside of my head,
And I fear if I don’t clean it out soon,
That my mind will eventually overflow,
And then with a bang explode all over,
Making a large mess for someone to clean,
For I am as confused as I’ve ever been,
And so is my poor and lonely heart,
That doesn’t know where it should be,
And so desperately wants to find a place,
That it will be comforted and be able,
To give all of the love it carries inside,
To find a hearth that it can call home,
And know it’ll always be welcome there.
