Dreaming...
Dreaming of a man,
To hold me tight,
Never letting go,
Wanting to cuddle,
Feels just so right,
To be in his arms,
Stealing lots of kisses,
A sly grin on his face,
Holding onto my hand,
As we stroll around,
Being seen with me,
He is so proud to be,
Loves to show me off,
To all of his friends.
He wants to know,
What I’m feeling inside,
Every little thing,
And never could he,
Think of hurting me.
Old Friend
Once you were a great friend,
And one of the best that I had,
But now apparently I'm not worthy,
Of being in your 'glorious spotlight,'
And everything that I am,
My wits, sense of humour, personality,
You no longer care for at all,
And you say I've changed too much,
Well I say you haven't changed enough,
For I am who I was always to become,
Whether you like or you don't,
I can't change the way that I am,
And you shouldn't try to either,
And if you don't like me for me,
Well then I guess it's too bad for you,
Because you're losing something good,
Just for the sake of your pride;
I wasn't always going to forever stay,
Your really shy little farm girl,
That's something that'd never happen,
And maybe your problem is just that,
You've never been able to cope,
With any changes that happen in life,
And why should I have to be someone,
That you always imagined me to be,
Because now I have grown into,
A person that I am glad to become,
So if you ever change your mind,
Wanting to be my friend once again,
I'll be willing to take you back,
But until then I'll still be here,
Living my life as I want to live it,
And shaking my head in wonder,
At just how arrogant you've become.

I know they were like OMG THE BEST! I still can't believe how mean we were in them tho 😛
Ok here's one I did at my grandparent's house while it was hailing.... I'm not exaggerating in the least in the poem either.....
Destruction
Thud,
Thud,
Thud,
Bang,
Crash,
The window breaks,
Glass everywhere,
Letting inside the house,
Hail, hail, and more hail,
Golf ball sized,
Pounding the floor,
The kitchen cupboards,
Falling down the stairs,
The wind howling,
Rain following,
Destruction managed,
Havoc caused,
The grass outside,
White and wet,
Like snow had fallen.
Away the hail finally goes,
But the wind stays,
Shrieking across the land,
Uncaring,
Unthinking,
Simply a destraction,
Simply an annoyance,
When it’s compared,
To the storm before it.
Very good works all around again. you all are very awesome, and inspiring. haha and you help me outta my funk yet again. ty, from especially Lady Cold to Follen and your bro. guys youall have some awesome talent. never let anyone tell you otherwise. been doin this thing for a decade. Writer's Block
You say that you have no more rhymes,
Since you confessed your love to me,
But I think they’re just trapped inside,
Waiting for you to set them free,
The words they sometimes stop flowing,
And so writing just seems a chore,
I hope this block goes away soon,
Cause we would love to hear some more,
Your poems they’re deep, they so inspire,
Everyone who decides to read,
From the ones that make us laugh,
To those that are so filled with need,
Hopefully soon you’ll find the muse,
Giving back your inspiration,
Reading your lovely thoughts again,
You will feel our admiration.
