USH'S STAR WARS GAME- LIGHT SIDE INTERLUDE- The Warlord of Droben

Started by Bespin Bart61 pages

"Good show, Sunda," Xeth says, quite amazed with Sunda's fighting ability, having not seen him since the attack on Ryamore, but then getting caught off guard by the sudden barrage of droideka fire.

(Oh, that was not cool...)

Xeth charges through the mercenaries with another Flying Charge, spinning his blade one-handed through three mercenaries, towards one of the near-corner droidekas.

Xeth then uses Defensive Leap to spring away from the incoming shots. Active dodge to the droideka targeting him.

If you dodge that Droideka shot it will Covering Fire you to stop you closing on the Mercenaries.

*smacks forehead*

Damned droidekas...

How many attacks are incoming Xeth?

How can I answer that before events pass? It's one Droideka that is using you for target practice.

Hmm...

Can Xeth Flying Charge at said Droideka instead? Then active dodge for defense against it, then Flying Charge back to and through the Mercs?

Basically, if you dodge it you can only move away from it.

Sounds decent enough for landing at least a single blow on the mechanical monster.

And if I attacked a droideka that wasn't using me for target practice?

That's fine.

Xeth, you got owned by that thing... 😛

Shush.

Then Xeth will Flying Charge the Droideka that was targeting Kiu, slashing across its armor as he lands.

Hmm...no defense against the mercenaries. Active dodge against the droideka.

Eh, I should have not made that second post...

Gallagher activates Sidestep, then moves to attack a Mercenary with a snapped attack.

Shouldn't I be fine with Defensive Leap and the Droideka wouldn't be able to destroy me?

Defensive Leap is a waste on one attacker...but the Defensive Leap only applies to the Mercenaries, unless you state otherwise. It only applies to enemies on a certain frame.

Defend for defense, please, Ush. Forgot to add that.

Lance does a Flying Charge over the heads of three Mercenaries, slicing through their skulls and upper torsos with wide precise swings.

He then Spins immediately after landing, slashing across the chests of three more Mercenaries with another swing.

He then uses Defend, arcing his lightsaber around to reflect the bolts away.

Does Sidestep make a worse roll for me?
If not, I activate it.

Annoyed that he missed half of his targets, Andro focuses harder on the battle. Letting the Force flow through him and guide his blade, he swings again at the two Mercenarie he missed.

(I'll simply TWIRL on the two nearest Mercs. DEFEND on any incomming Droidekka fire this time, ignoring the Mooks.)

I'll use guard for defence (I'll assume I can't attack the droideka's when I'm pinned?)

Damn droideka shot at me (aah well +1 bonus on my next hit)

So long as you dodge it, then indeed you cannot close, Marcus, no.

Ok, an annoyed Xeth leaps at another Droideka instead! +2 is a solid hit.

Gallagher hacks down another man... and that's another kill for you, Gallagher. Easier this time. He didn't really stand a chance.

Lance goes into action! Two kills from his Flying Charge announce the return of the Lancemeister. And then 1-2-3 kills from his Spin! Dead Mercus everywhere!

Two kills for Andro as the Mercus are really locked down...

Sunda snaps forwards and snaps two attacks. He gets two kill, and the central area is clear.

Looks like the security is coming on-line. Turrets pop out everywhere, and more Mercs are arriving!

Gallagher is our new unlucky man- a direct hit from a Droideka for 16 damage. They are on form today! Except it is only 10 damage, due to Sidestep. Phew!

Just a note- unless you have more than one firing at you (unlikely!) no point using Defend on Droideka fire- take a dodge instead. Defend is for large amounts of fire from inferior things. Specific dodges are better on single, more powerful foes.

Ok folks, your move!

BTW, I'll let Vlad do his hacking, but if his player doesn't post by the time he does that I'll remove him from the fight.

I'll use twirl and then sidestep to dodge any of the mercenaries' attacks.

Marcus spins his sabre around the Droideka for a COMBINATION of two quick strike against that damn droideka -that shot at me- (wiv lvl3 SabreMaster that should be atleast a +1 bonus on the first attack, if I get it decent)

IF I can't use SabreMaster with combination I'll use Strike, or else a normal attack.

I'll use guard for defence.
