Just a heads up for those who have not heard- very strong probability that the Christmas Special this year is called "The Next Doctor"- but don't read too much into that.

i quizzed him about the Zygons and he just said "im on the way out now..its that other chap Moffat you should be asking"

after seeing pics of Cybermen in the Tardis in a deleted scene from the finale in the book(there was to be a what? WHAT? WHAT!!?? moment after all) it got me wondering if well see this scene during Children In Need as a surprise

There is a longer Christmas special trailer going around online. Quality is rubbish though.

Doctor Who died more or less with Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred for me.

Willaim Hartnell was and always will be Doctor Who.

Hartnell was beyond brill. He was the Man the Daleks couldn't ever Kill.

Anyone know of a better quality trailer for the Christmas special I was on about.

Finally saw "Talons Of Weng-Chiang" last night, and that really was one of the best old school Doctor Who stories I have ever watched. I mean, dang, that was great! The racial stereotype was a bit off putting, but everything else was simply perfect. The dialogue was some of the strongest the series has ever had, the villain was perfect, and the Doctor was at some of his best in DW history. I suggest that every single fan of Doctor should watch it.

(pokes at Peach who I know has still not watched that)

Hopefully Davis will not get his own way for the replacement, leave it up to the new guy please.

I'm happy about it, about time they let someone else have a go, please pick someone I adoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Heard about it from that Awards show too.

I am truely gutted that David will leave come 2010..

And I really have no idea of anyone that can replace him and be just as good.

Lots of people, just take a look through this whole topic, a few of us have said who we would like. Do just as good a job.
