No, that's a total myth. The Dalek invasion was clearly not erased as the Daleks from Victory of the Daleks are from that invasion. They even talk to the Doctor about it.
Amy's proximity to the crack might have messed up her memory of things, but not only is there nothing to suggest the Dalek invasion was erased, on the contrary there is direct evidence that it still happened.
I'm perpetually about a year behind continuity due to my crappy TV programming, but I'm ok with that. I just got caught up to the end of the Tennant specials (started meh but ended magnificently with "The End of Time"😉. And I'm almost through Season 2 of Torchwood (is there a Season 3?). SJA is a bit too kiddish, but I watched season 1 of that as well. Probably won't watch any more of it though. And I have found a few excuses to bust out my 10th Doctor costume at various functions, and it's always a great time.
Loved Tennant, liked Eccleston, but I'm looking forward to seeing Matt Smith in the role as well. Just bought a couple of the soundtracks too, which are excellent. Murray Gold is brilliant.

Season 3 was a five episode story that was all shown in one week, and is basically the best thing Torchwood ever did. It's called Children of Earth.
I'll keep an eye out for it, thanks. So far it's looks like it's not syndicated. The channel showing reruns on my cable package stops after Season 2 and goes back to the beginning.

Agreeeeed.
Digi, if you have netflix, I'm pretty sure they have all of Children of Earth streaming on there (netflix has made me get most of my coworkers into both Doctor Who and Torchwood, mwahahahaha). Otherwise, it is available on DVD here, it's on Amazon for like $18.

I don't think it ended too well...
However the Minister's story was brilliant and very well acted. It's amazing to think he is also from the Thick of It!

I don't, but thanks. I also don't really have money for anything non-essential atm. My choices are really torrents or wait for syndication. I'm generally more patient than most fans, so I'll be waiting for the latter.
Still, I'll make sure not to miss Children of Earth, and thanks.
So I found the Season 5 DVD's at a comic con the other day, and excitedly bought them.
Then it was pointed out to me that they're undoubtedly illegal burned copies (when I think of burned copies, I generally just think of music, not television). I'll chalk this one up to naivety and just enjoy my find, especially since I can't return them, but will be waiting for official DVD's in the future.
The rainbow Daleks are kinda dumb, imo. But the first episode was spectacular. Calmed all my fears and excited me for the new series all at the same time.
