USH'S LORD OF THE RINGS GAME PART 3- The Tournament and the Traitor

"Talin..." he says, somewhat agitatedly. "I'm in the royal guard now. It's not exactly done to spread rumours around..."

"I understand, and I'm sorry to put you in this awkward position, my friend," Talin says. "But it is important. I can tell you that much."

Robert sighs."

"His type... they liked women, you know?"

"Of course, who doesn't?" Talin asks. "Er... well, you know what I mean. Go on."

(He was chasing hookers....)

Pallidan has basically hit the nail on the head there.

And so yes, Robert tells you this rumour of what, if pubically known, would be the most dreadful scandal, Talin. That the Prince has fallen in with a bunch of nobles who visit 'disruptable houses' in the evenings...

"That would be quite scandalous, but... it doesn't seem like something that someone would get murdered over. But who else was in this group of secretly dishonorable nobles?"

He can name some friends of the Prince; nothing significant.

No, you are right Talin, it's not something you would think would be worth murdering someone over... but it IS something you might want no-one to know happened!

(Maybe the whores know something, especially if he had a favourite)

It's certainly a lead.

But now we must be moving on, For time reasons I am afraid I think it is more sensible to skkip the Riddling contest (maybe next year!) and move on towsards the Melees.

So, you guys getting a team together for the Team event?

Aw, and I'd been practising!

Well, Menelacar will erect a sign somewhere near the arena saying "TEAM MELEE - DWARVES, ELVES, HOBBITS and MEN WANTED"
or some such, then stand by it!

Talin is certainly in on the melee, though he is wanting to investigate the lead that Robert has given him. He will not ask Robert if he knows any of them (out of propriety), but asks if he knows where they can be found.

Yes, he can give you the district. No point going before nightfall though.

If your team ends up less than four strong, I'll have Robert join you...

As the victor of the Strength test, Anglomir feels it is fitting for him to join in the Melee contest and show off his other talents!

And because I haven't posted much, Anglomir has been accompanying fair Menelacar about his investigatory errands.

That's three, I'll give it a day or two more...

Somehow I am thinking Ellothiel would not do well in team melee, so she'd probably sit this one out.

Possibly... but between rounds only those on the team can administer first aid...
