Darth Vader vs. Spider-Man

Started by jinzin31 pages

point taken.....I get what you mean though.....for instance: some pics were posted in the spiderman vs. wolverine thread to which a certain member started making up "facts" about what was going on.....althouh his "facts" are completely and OBVIOUSLY for that matter all biased opinions.....and wrong...lol

but still.....point taken.

<<but still.....point taken.>>

good. now if only convincing you that spidey would whoop wolvie's butt were so easy, everything would be fine!

hheheh. 🙂

lol...hey man...I agree with you to a point and I unstand your speculations........ I considered what you said....don't mean I agree with it all.......lol...when spidey gets caught up and the scores even and not 3 to 0 in wolverine's favor anymore....maybe I'll change my point of view...

[B12 million was to cover each of the three movies. Not just one movie. that's about 4 million per movie. That covers the Actor's fees the budgeting for the electrricity the cost of the film the props the costumes and the painted in effects for the blaster and lightsabers. . . Movies cost alot of money. But yeah if you look at the Star wars films now a day you can see the Jedi moving faster because they have a bigger budget to work with, better technology and can do more.

They had a low budget and they didn't even expect it to do as well as it did. [/B]

Come back when you actually know something about Star Wars. The budget for the first movie was 12 million dollars (more or less).

And for that time, it had great FX. It's not even that outdated when you look at it now. Stop trying to blame Vaders not-so-impressive-acts because of the so-called "lack of money". Since when do you need lots of money to film a scene where Vader beats up a few guys without breaking a sweat ?

Being in the same room isn't the same as being in another part of a small moon. Always have to downplay your opponents abilities in order to gain a foot hold?

If I have to believe everything I am reading here, Vader would have sensed Luke lightyears away - okay exaggerating, but you get the idea.

He didn't have the faintest idea Luke was his son. Not when he saw him on the Deathstar, not when he was chasing him at the end of the movie.

I really hope you're reffering to the new extra scenes otherwise....what have you been smokin? the FX are great for their time ahead of their time...and completely impressive...but nowhere near not being outdated....

so the force is automatically supposed to tell you who you are a family member with? 😂

If you can't even sense your own flesh and blood, how will Vader - like some people are telling me - sense Spider-Man ?

No, you come back when you know anything more than just looking up "Star wars budget" on google.

Look at my name. 😉

And what difference does knowing "This person who is strong with the force over here is such and such?"

We're talking about a fight and knowing the location of someone. Vader could sense a person in the same room.

Damn man. You don't see me ragging on spidey because he couldn't sense a stab from a teammate. (There's a reason, even if we can't agree on why)

Don't go downplaying the abilities of a person you obviously don't know anything about.

"Come back when you actually know something about Star Wars."

Vader could sense the person, but the force doesn't reveal who he is directly to a person like that.

seriously....this farce must end.....spidey dies.....what left is there to argue?

oh, and don't think i forgot about you bertran . . .

<<That's all I got.....but I should let you know that I have heard the legends of LEONIDAS, and from what I have heard he is 85 years old and actually created the original Spidey....WOW>>

ha! i like that legend - glad i made it up. but my favourite one has always been this one, stolen from a message board i was eavesdropping on:

"leonidas is seven feet tall. He reads comic books by the hundreds and if he were here he'd consume this forum with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse!"

🙂

😂

wow.....now I know what I'm up against at least....

heheh.

hey man, i'm just repeating what i heard . . .

🙂

How can Vader expect to beat spiderman, that has spider-sense if he can't even beat the little yellow guy with the lightsaber in the smiliestarwars

lol

I'm sorry for asking but what does "lol" mean?

Laughing Out Loud = 😂

I think if Darth made the mistake of igniting his lightsaber FIRST and Spidey figured out it's power, then he'd have a really good chance of taking Vader down.

Otherwise I think Darth would pretty much slice him... I just watched ROTS and he's really fast with the saber..probably as fast as Spidey can dodge.

plus he's got the force...

And how would knowing the power of the saber help him?

It'd force (forgive the pun) him to not get too close. . but that impedes. him.
