Hleb's was a factual penalty, there was hardly any contact on Babel at all.
Arsenal wouldn't have committed so many men forward to allow Babel's goal if the penalty hadn't been there, cos they'd have gone through with a draw, after Walcott more or less beat their team.
Yet again Arsenal get screwed, but that's the way of the game. Yet again a penalty saves Liverpool.

pool played just as well as arsenal if not better for decent periods, and arsenal's (imo) mental weakness is what cost them...

So we're going to blame it on an imaginary factor, not Babel's dive and the fact that Arsenal had a factual penalty denied them?Cool.
Cos Walcott's run and Adebayor's goal, after Torres put Liverpool in front, screams of "We're psychologically weak." doesn't it?

if you put your hands all over a player in the box then you're asking for trouble.
arsenal lost it straight away after they equalised. real shame really. i wanted them to win.

imaginary, like your 'factual' penalties? barker
i'm not saying it wasnt a debatable penalty, but to blame the entire loss on one decision is foolish imo, when liverpool had played very well for periods of the match and looked better than arsenal at times...
psychologically weak = being silly enough to be in the position to concede a penalty just after dragging yourself back into the game...

Why blame him for anything other than Hyypia's goal? He didn't dive for the penalty.-AC
I blame him for Torres goal too. He should've came out on Torres and closed the space he left.
And that penalty was complete bullshit. You just don't call that when it's that pivotal for the game.
There were hands flying everywhere, it certainly wasn't any more factual than Hleb's. The force applied by Toure didn't coincide with how Babel went down, Hleb was dragged over.
Like I said, Liverpool jiff.

You're denying Hleb's was a penalty? Kuyt grabbed his arm and pulled him away. Babel started sliding over, typical dive.

They got played off the pitch, again. The two goals came from poor marking, except one of them was very good.
Babel's came from a need to commit after a dive.

It's not your fault when a player dives, though.

When that decision decided the winning goal? Are you really that thick?
