True that, but the guys I listed are still all more effective in midfield than Eboue. More goals and more assists, everyone of them.
2 for Malbranque, 2 for Lennon. 1 for Eboue. Both have lower pass completion rates.
He's not there to 'wing', he plays when there's no Rosicky (AKA, usually) in order to protect the fullback.

Van Persie, Adebayor, Eduardo, Bendtner and Villa?
How the hell will he keep all those happy, plus Carlos Vela and Walcott.Sell Bendtner to Spurs, that'll ease the problem.
Yeah, cos Spurs always need more strikers.
Eduardo's out for a while. Bendtner is only 20 so he can't really moan, but he will be a great player one day. That's the problem though, people moan about Arsenal's depth, but it's hard to address. You only get a certain sized squad before people get pissed off- unless it's Man Utd where people seem content to benchwarm, going back to Ole.
Deano- that might work. Couldn't see him playing it though. It'd be I guess Flamini, Fabregas and Hleb in the middle.
In any case I couldn't see Wenger splashing the cash. It would be a great, great signing though, and worth it I think.

6 for Malbranque, 6 for Jenas, 4 for Huddlestone, 3 for Lennon, 0 for Eboue.
Or another way:
6 for Malbranque, 6 for Jenas, 7 for Huddlestone, 1 for Lennon, 1 for Eboue.
Either way, they're more productive.
We're gonna be remodelling our midfield this summer anyway, so we could always sell Arsenal one or two to help them out; be neighbourly, like.

Got stats to back that pass completion remark?

Yeah, cos Spurs always need more strikers.
Clubs always need good players... Bendtner can moan, because he's good.

Yes...partially. That's why I said that. Malbranque's is slightly higher, I was thinking of Fattlestone. Although Malbranque's is not much higher, given Eboue gives the ball away every time.
Lennon's is much lower. Fattlestone's lower still.
Premier League stats.
Eboue- passes completed 494, attempted 631. 78.2%
Malbranque- passes completed 904, attempted 1144. 79% exactly.
Lennon- passes completed 380, attempted 507. 74.95%.
'Huddlestone'- passes completed 719, attempted 986. 72.92%.

Spurs do.
He can moan, but he won't benefit from it. He's aged 20 at one of the world's best clubs- especially for youngsters- so he should realise he's in a privileged position.

Yeah. You have to use the real stats though, or it just gets unreasonable.Or are you counting the Reserves Cup and the games against FC Football Klub in the UEFA?
You know Arsenal haven't won anything in years, right? Eboue is pooee. You're just too strung-up in your world of numbers to have any faith in what your eyes can plainly see. So, Eboue can pass a few feet to his nearest man?...How...penetrating.
