Wait...you don't want to see fancy, beautiful football, simply because without results it means nothing. Yet, you watch football for pure heart?Chelsea have had a more "successful" season than Arsenal. You prefer watching them grind out results in matches like their now legendary game against Liverpool?
That's precisely why the lack of silverware isn't a gigantic issue for me. It's starting to get silly that people are acting like Arsenal will never win a thing again, yet Liverpool are, without fail, "challengers" for the league every year. I know that Arsenal will just keep getting better in time, I'm already excited for next season. This season in itself was an accomplishment.
The good thing is, the issues we have are clear and easily addressed. Players needed, that's it. Gotta be more clinical. Learn from the mistakes and move on. One thing that is guaranteed is that Arsenal will always put heart into it, and always play football that even the most hardened Arsenal hater can enjoy (Except Krunk'd), unlike Liverpool and Chelsea it seems.

its not important to me whether a team plays lovely looking stuff. i have more respect for players when they're putting their heart and soul into the game no matter how flashy they are and get wins. i like gruttyness. its just me. i'm not saying its bad, but i'd prefer my team to win rather than play well and lose. wasnt it arsenal who always won 1-0?
about liverpool being contenders.... i've never expected or thought they may win because i think they're overrated and inconsistant. until they finish second or first they always will be too.

It's lovely that you like "gruttyness", but perhaps you could explain to those of us whose first language is English what the word means? In the mean time, I'm going to come out and say I like my teams to be sploindyfloodeful.
it was meant to say "grittyness". arent typos allowed anymore?
speaking of language.... and american says this to me on call of duty 4.... i know its off topic but hey...
"what language you speak?"
"english"
"oh so you're english?"
"no"
"so you speak english but you dont live there? that doesnt make any sense"
oh how i love them silly yankees. some are fine.. but that one.... well.

Ronaldo did nothing all game, how the **** sky managed to find enough material from the first half for that lovely half-time montage of him i'll never know.
Hahahaha. With the homoerotic music.
He's not truly world class. Can't influence big games. Same as Torres- both flat track bullies.
For all the semen-soaking that occurs when he gets two against Bolton, this has remained the case.

Close, but no cheesecake. If it's what you like, you should learn how to spell it, boyo...
This is a football discussion, we've all got reputations to upkeep.
It's a shame about Messi's injury problems...If that boy could stay fit, he'd own the world.
I'd like to say that United displayed some form of decent football but it's difficult considering the unsurprising lack of evidence. I'm not going to belittle Ronaldo or anything considering I never held him in high regard to begin with. Since I have exams this week, I only managed to catch glimpses of the forgettable match.
Here's to a better second leg.
BTW, why did Allie's account get restricted?
Ronaldo was pretty shit last night. Did anyone catch that situation were he had the chance to put Rooney alone in front of Valdes if he had passed right away instead of running with the ball and forcing Rooney to the right wing, then passing it to Rooney only to immediately want it back from him so that he can have a clear shot at goal? Only by the time he got it back he was surrounded by Barca defenders.
