Right. A style based on class. Fulham's superiority wasn't in anyway related to class.
Denilson had a bad game, but I think he'll be allowed the chance to put it right. It's not as if he's the first to have a poor game.

And that's the problem with Arsenal's tactics. There needs to be a change when Arsenal is faced with teams like Fulham and Bolton, or else they'll keep dropping easy points.I hope so, but he'll be ripped apart by fans and I don't know if he can take that yet.
Teams they took 12 points off last year?

I´ll have to agree they (liverpool) are playing shit at the moment, they don´t seem to have any width, nothing coming from the wingers or right/left backs.
Worrying as they can´t keep playing like this and keep winning.
I see Arsenal squeezed through again🙂
Big surprise is Schalke getting stuffed 4:0 away to Athletico Madrid, I thought it would be a close one.

I'm not just talking about those two. I'm talking about the bottom and middle teams that Arsenal lost points that would've won them the league. Arsenal dropped two points to Boro, Blackburn, Newcastle and four to Boro. They only needed to win 6 of those 10 points to win overall, which Arsenal should have done.
To be fair though, why use teams as an example of Arsenal's failure, when Arsenal beat them in all four games? That's a lazy media approach. How can you say 'just' those, when they aren't even relevant?
If decisions and injuries went Arsenal's way, they'd have won the league. If they beat Man Utd, one single game, they would have won the league.
As many points as Arsenal dropped, they only dropped 1 more than Chelsea. 4 more than Man Utd.
I don't really get the logic of it all.

Hopefully Riera (if and when he arrives) will surprise everyone and give us width on the left. Supposedly, he may not even be the last signing (I'm praying for someone on the right, though I guess Pennant could work out if he's given a chance- not that I don't think he's a complete prick, but he's fast and can knock over a decent cross, unlike Kuytinho).
Unfortunately, all this seems to have us relying an awful lot on Rick Parry... 🙁
Things aren't looking great, but if the wings are sorted, we'll be OK. I don't doubt Keane will find his feet and Torres will do the business again.
I have faith.

Manchester United suffered injuries to players too, including their captain, and Chelsea had their captain injured too, plus others I'm sure. While I don't doubt there were more injuries than the one suffered by Eduardo for Arsenal to contend with (Van Persie too, of course), if they had real depth, they'd have coped.
Yes, if decisions and injuries hadn't crippled Arsenal, then they could've won the league. but what I mean to say is if Arsenal had closed out those games, like they should have even with the injuries, they wouldn't won the league.

I believe Silvestre could well help, but I'm pretty sure they need class players to cover the wing and central midfield. Plus, they have 2 decent forwards (Van Persie, who spends so much time injured that he barely counts, and Adebayor, who I doubt will have another season that's remotely as good as last). They need another striker to cover with Eduardo crippled and Bendtner injured. I suppose Vela could prove to be the solution, but I somehow doubt it.
Arsenal are ****ed. But everyone always says that.
Hell, I'm a Liverpool supporter- what do I know? At least we have plenty of depth in our squad...
