Don't worry. Fraizer Campbell will save you. 😐
Though apparently you only got him on loan anyway. It's all a mess.

Well what an interesting last minute transfer frenzy.

Robinho to Man City and the owners say they are going to make the club the biggest in Manchester and win the title. The football worlds going a bit mad with these rich boys buying clubs and trying to make them a success.

Dunno if anyone follows the Bundesliga, ever heard of a team called TSG Hoffenheim, they were bought by Dietmar Hopp (co-founder of software firm SAP) they´ve come from the Regionalliga Süd (1/4 of the 3rd division) to the Bundesliga in the last 3 years, another case of sme rich kid buying a club, at least in this case it was the club from his youth.

Where will this end?

I suspect it'll end when there are a series of Leeds United or Gretna incidents and UEFA have to bring in some kind of new regulation to stop football teams going into meltdown all over the place.

Scotland got of to a good WC 210 start then, loosing 1:0 in Macedonia.
I wonder if England will join the minnows of football tonight against a town in Spain called Andorra

wales doing better than expected again 😛

Wow, yes, they beat the mighty Azerbaijan. My money's on them winning the World Cup after that. Look out, World, here comes the mighty Robert Earnshaw.

dont forget koumas. christ, we'll be burying teams if bellamy can get healthy enough 😛

1-0 simply isnt good enough. kinda shows the state of welsh football. mark hughes was doing a good job of trying to get us into a majoy tourney, but blackburn lured him away and it all went downhill from there.

I see England ""thrashed 🙂" Andorra !! 2:0....

I see Walcotts finaly got an England place he deserves. He´s the most talented hopefull england have had for a long time imo.

Just a shame he plays for Arsenal 🙂

Wales potentially could do all right. Though I honestly believe their best hope is to get 3rd spot and hope for a better draw in qualifying for Euro 2012. Ledley, Ramsey, Nyatange etc. should be peaking around then. I reckon the FAW needs to stick with Tosh and keep faith.
It's not like they did much worse than England anyway. I expect Azerbaijan is bigger than Andorra...

anyone seen gerrards having a little pout in the press?

http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~1386449,00.html

"I've paid the price for being able to do a decent job in other positions. Other players don't get shunted around because they can't do it (cough) Lampard (cough). Excuse me."

To be honest, I agree with him. He should be allowed to play in his correct position. Then again, I would say that...

I see France lost 3:1 to Austria, what went wrong there then?

2 words: Raymond Domenech. 😉

Gerrard is the most talented "hopeful" England have had. Everyone keeps hoping he'll one day rip that shirt off and reveals a Superman style "S", but he won't.

Walcott is legitimately very good with the potential to become even better. Possibly England's best, but that's up to him.

hes definitely got all the attributes to be a top player.

hes just gotta do it week in week out. hes really lucky hes at arsenal, i think hes got a great chance to do it there. better than anywhere else in england. the way they play makes players better, especially developing players like walcott.

I reckon it's time Capello took some more risks with the England starting XI, to be honest. The likes of Theo Walcott, Glen Johnson, David Bentley and Ashley Young need to play at least semi-regularly, IMO, and chances should be given to Agbonlahor, Warnock, etc. It's time an England manager actually tried something new-ish.

The Croatia game on Wednesday should be a good time to do it. Bring in new young blood, bin those who have constantly failed in the past.

Can´t see England taking a point from the Croatia game, but you never know. Maybe they´ll defend Italian style and get a penalty.

Nobody would dare risk bringing in untested players against a team like Croatia. But, really, against the likes of Kazakhstan, why shouldn't Capello experiment? It's not like Kazakhstan's national team is full of world beaters.

More like Phellipe Mexes. An own goal and a ridiculous and unnecessary foul, which resulted in a penalty. He even said in the media that he himself should be the one to blame for this loss and not Domenech.

Ah, OK. It doesn't mean Domenech's not a complete joke, however. Turns out that maybe he'd be better off ignoring the star signs and selecting decent players.
