Muhammad Ali or Bruce Lee?

Of course Ali would get hit, multiple times maybe. I'd just to like say out right now that though I think Ali would win trhis would be the fight of his life.

However, I doubt Lee would be able to block/dodge all of Ali's shots as well. which leads to why I think Ali would win...

I believe that Ali could probably take more damage then Lee could. I mean, as a Professional boxer Ali has had to go through 15 rounds of punishment then Lee and his 3-5 rounds max. Ali's just got better durability, imo.

I'm sure they'd both get hit and though Ali could probably take more hits overall than Lee, I don't think Lee is this frail guy people seem to think he is where 1-2 hits from Ali and he's all but dead. I also think Lee could deal out more damage at a quicker rate than Ali, especially with kicks.

Here we have a 125lb "master" of martial arts

vs

A 220 lb "master" of boxing

I think Lee could have some crazy skills but 100lbs is CRAZY weight to give away to a skilled combatant.

Some folks need to quite sniffing crazy glue when they post for Bruce Lee

good man but really kung fu suck. it DOESN'T WORK IN A REAL FIGHT. please people you will never ever see a kung fu loser beat. a BBJ, JUDOKA, SAMBO OR BOXING MASTER. shit bbj showed us what happens when you take a kung fu guy to the ground he screams and taps like the loser he is.

lets see wing chun suck, xingyiquan suck, tai che is for old people in parks=suck and all other kung fu suck.

King Fu is a discipline with a style, Bruce Lee was all about not limiting yourself to styles or forms ; his philosophy was use what works for the situation; he didn't practice Kung Fu per se in his later years.

Lol watching the national geographic the other day the kung fu guy was a wimp compared to the boxer.

Kung Fu guy punched for like 550lbs of pressure.

Boxer hit for a little over 1000lbs of pressure.

Even the kung fu kicks were the weakest of all the fighters there🙂

ALi was a great boxer no doubt, but boxing has come a long way since then... Tyson in his peak could out-power and out-speed Ali with his hits.
Ali isn't the end all be all to boxing...
🤣 tyson was overrated. ali could take a hit like no other in boxing or mma. yea tyson had more power maybe.......... but still ali had way more skill, speed, plus better movement.

The Tao of Jeet Kun Do

I read it, I have the book, it's not going to help Bruce that much with a skilled combatant and the height and weight disadvantage he is facing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedor_Emelianenko that man would kill lil lee. none of the top fighters in the world use kung fu why? well cuz it suck its gay its only for movies and lil kids. stupid people watch movies then start talking out thier ass about kung fu can do this and that. shit i watch smallvell can i fly? 😆

I voted for ALi. Apparently he can launch a 125 Man into the air with one uppercut.

which presents the problem of the question of how much power he was exerting on said 125 lb person. The feat that I presented for Bruce Lee was a small jabbing distance merely starting an inch from the body and yet that was enough to make a person flying.

The one inch punch and three inch punch = poop

Yea, he probably would, but this post is about Ali & Lee, not Fedor & Lee... Duh.

Hey look, Bruce Lee agrees with you, Kung Fu severely limits yourself since it is style & form based.

I believe it, Kung Fu is more about traditions and showing off than actual damage. A reason why Lee was an outcast in the Chinese martial arts community, he broke away from the useless traditional crap like "tiger stance" and all that. He was all about striking efficiency and he was a huge proponent of western style boxing for hand strikes as it is the most efficient for punching.

Straight from the wiki article on bruce lee. Scroll down to the title:
1964 Long Beach International Karate Championships

At the invitation of Ed Parker, Lee appeared in the 1964 Long Beach International Karate Championships[11] and performed repetitions of two-finger pushups (using the thumb and the index finger) with feet at approximately a shoulder-width apart. In the same Long Beach event he also performed the "One inch punch". The description of which is as follows: Lee stood upright, his right foot forward with knees bent slightly, in front of a standing, stationary partner. Lee's right arm was partly extended and his right fist approximately an inch away from the partner's chest. Without retracting his right arm, Lee then forcibly delivered the punch to his partner while largely maintaining his posture, sending the partner backwards and falling into a chair placed behind the partner to prevent injury, though the force of the impact caused his partner to soon after fall onto the floor.

And besides to verify it as "poop" as you so claim it to be requires proper and logical evidence to verify your claims.

It's utter poop.

It's all show

It's not a very effective combat strike as compared to knees, elbows etc etc.

Poop as in when I was in martial arts I got a book that showed the technique used in the one inch punch.

I filled a coffee can with sand and practiced and practiced. I can tell you that it's not a combat effective technique when you have other "tools" available like jabs, kicks, elbows, knees etc.

It's utter poop.

I believe having read this thread before I joined some excellent posts from a member highlight the truth about Lee. These posts as I recall are incredibly detailed and well researched.

And the ability to knock someone back with minimal force is not combat feasible because? Granted your opponent may not let you place their hand an inch from you without him grabbing it and snapping your fingers but it does however provide a simple low-end benchmark to mark capabilities of Lee.

Bruce Lee... did you know they had to slow down the film because he was so fast.
