Besides, non-canon. Didn't happen.

lol! No, I'm not starting anything! 😖hifty:I think the general consensus now is Supes'll win.
It's just up to us to convince Del-boy.
His mind is narrower than a camel's arse in a sandstorm...

Wolverine told juggernaut that cannonball was drunk and he also threaten juggernaut, ending with juggernaut running out of the bar. [/B]
Running out of the bar? 😂 ummmm, no.
This is what happend:
Cannonball see jugs, runs into him and is knocked down and dazed by the impact.
Logan sees Jugs about to squish CB.
Logan said "if you want to hurt him, you gotta go through me"
Jug said "I don't have the time, runt." and sat back down with the girl he was trying to bang.
If Jugs was to hit him, wolvie would have been K.O'd like the last time Jugs smacked him.
Superman's arctic breath isn't going to work.
Sam has been covered in liquid nitrogen, while weakened, and WITH a broken leg--and he blasted out of it like it was nothing!
Uncanny # 447. Sam and Bishop are fighting the Fury.
*Bishop throws a tank of liquid nitrogen at Sam and Fury*
Bishop: "Fire didn't do much good, so we'll see how well this guy handles liquid nitrogen. Only problem is whether Sam's force field can protect him from being frozen to near absolute zero"
*Bishop fires and makes the tank explode, covering Sam and Fury in liquid nitrogen*
*Sam flies out instantly--with the Fury's frozen arm clinging to his neck*
It ain't gonna work. Neither will heat vision or brute strength. Neither opponent can hurt the other under normal circumstances. As I've said before Sam can only win one way, and Superman can only win one way.
Superman would have to fight Sam all day(throwing random objects at him to keep him occupied), so he would tire out and his field would weaken (possibly be gone altogether). Superman--a living solar battery, wouldn't even be tired and could go in for the KO.
Sam, who can't hurt Superman, would have to use his own powers against him--just like Link does against Gannon in LoZ. He would absorb his punches, and then send them back at him in one big blow--which would at the least hurt Superman greatly. Mebbe even KO him.

The cold was not the only thing to hit him, there was also the kinetic force of the explosion, and the cold was in the form of liquid.
The force of the explosion might have agumented the field enough to resist the heat.
The liquid wouldn't remain on him for very long, it's sort of an instant one time shot.

It might have, but I doubt it. Bishop would have probably said something about it.
One time shot? As soon as nitrogen hits anything it freezes that object, so it would stay on something unless the object was protected (which Sam was).
Are you trying to say Superman would keep using his breath on Sam--unlike the nitrogen which was only a one time deal?
I still doubt it would work.
and again, Superman doesnt know how CB's field works. If CB flies out of his first use of ice breath like it was nothing, Supes isnt gonna know "but hey, if I keep blowing on him, it will eventually drain the kinetic energy powered force field!" Anymore than hes gonna know that heat vision powers UP the force field. He doesnt have a force field detecto-meter. He's not Richard Reed either.
