USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

(Well, I thought of taking Deel with me, while I was at work. I think what I will do is use Push/Pull to fling the cannister out the window. I'm sure Andro is tired of holding his breath, and whether it gives Varm any pause or not, it will give me more room to operate.

Also, if I do have to evacuate, does Andro remember seeing anything on Deel's body that might identify him? I'm just afraid that Varm will dispose of him now that he's been discovered, thus wiping out important evidence.

Gallagher, we both have to be careful here, it will be all to easy to make us look like the evil ones when this gets out. Kathya has already made you look like the Abbot's stalker to that nurse. And if I have to leave without god evidence that Varm was hiding Deel's body, Varm might actually be able to frame me for his murder. I am trespassing after all. Like Obi-Wan said; 'We must be cautious'.)

After a moment's hesitation, Andro decides to use the Force to fling the gas cannister out the window. He wasn't ready to retreat just yet.

No! Do not use the Force, no matter what the cost, unless you are in grave danger. This is pretty dangerous yes, but I mean if Varm had his gun to your head.

See if you can find something on Deel's body that can be used to identify him, then out the window you go.

But I agree, we have to be incredibly cautious. Zaland helped me with his quick exchange between Kathya and himself, but if Kathya and Varm can portray us as being in the wrong, I have no doubt that they will. Or at least Varm, anyway.

Good luck, Andro.

(My thinking with the Force-fling was that no one will actually see me using the force. I could have just picked it up and threw it, or kicked it out the window. Unless, of course, whatever process it's going through make it hot or something.

BUT, I have a feeling that being caught here would be a bad thing. Should I lose consciousness, Varm could dispose of the body, or make it look as if I murdered Twain. Like I said,, as far as the facility knows, I have no legal right to be here. As long as Andro feels pretty sure Varm has nothing to prove it's him in here, he'll scoop up something from Deel's body and climb out the window.)

Andro raised his hand to fling the cannister out the window, but stopped just short of performing the feat. Cursing to himself, he dashes across the room, and climbs out the window.

(OK, I just figured out that taking something from Deel would not prove that Varm had something to do with it at all. Actually, if Twain's body is found, Andro's possession of one of his possessions could be incriminating. Great. I think Varm's going to get away with this one for now.)

It wouldn't have worked anyway- there is already a fatal level of gas in this room; removing the cannister now would only endanger the public by gassing the corridor outside also.

Andro goes for the window. Of course, you are several stories up, so this is not as simple as you would like.

Luckily, Varm's over-enthusiasm gets to him as he hears you moving that way. He runs to the doorway and opens fire on you as you run shattering the window in several places.

There is a tiny windowsill out there which you can barely balance on, Andro. It's too far down to reasonably Fall (though Gallagher could have done it with Master Fall) which leaves you teetering high up on the outside wall of the hospital- you are not overlooking a public area, so no-one down below has seen you, though there are plenty of windows around through which people might note something odd.

Your best bet is to try and move sideways and re-enter the corridor from a different room. This as far as your thoughts go by the time Varm has moved to the corner of the room where he has a clear shot through the window at you.

-

"You would need no weapons to kill the Abbot, fool," says Kathya.

At this point, the door behind opens again. The nurse is holind the arm of a figure dressed in a white robe, the hood up. The only exposed part of him you can see is his right hand, which he uses to steady himself against the doorway. It is gnarled and twisted, and two fingers are missing from it. The figure is breathing heavily in obvious pain and discomforth, but draws in a heavy breath and comments.

"You sound agitated, Kathya." The voice is notably stronger than the body. "Who is this?"

Meanwhile, Cassilis guys, you are not on pause- time is both passing and running out. It is now late afternoon on the third day for both storylines.

"I am Scroop Klinge-Faust, sir," Gallagher says, bowing deeply before the Abbott. "I have been seeking to make your acquaintance, but have been so far unsuccessful during my stay here due to Kathya's dedication to protecting you. She was turning me away as we speak."

(Andro will indeed start moving sideways. Although I suspect I won't get far before Varm gets to the window and starts shooting again, so I'll try the first window I come to. If Andro has the faculties for it right now, he'll move away from the Synod's area.)

Varm will indeed start to fire at you from the window!

Trouble is... any room you ge to, he can easily head you off at the doorway. True, the rooms won't be being gassed but you are sure that won't last and anyway, you can't stay here all day.

You need to think of a way to beat Varm to the stairway.

-

"Ah, Kathya, so dedicated," says Sienar- with some pained effort, as it is clear he is still in great discomfort. "But I doubt this is any assassin. Tell me, young Klinge-Faust, is it simple curiosity that seeks you to drive audience with me? It is rare that a member of a noble family requires my services... perhaps you wish to become a benefactor?"

(Yeah, I was afraid of that. I'd sure like to use the Force to jerk that blaster out of his hand right now. BTW, does this mean that Varm has not visually ID'd me? Ok, where are the stairs in relation to Varm and my current position? Also, is there any way up or down?)

You're pretty sure he has seen you.

The stairs aren't THAT far- the distance of a long corridor away. I assumed you were side-stepping towards them.

But no obvious ways up or down, no.

(Then Andro will make the best possible speed he can safely manage to the stairs. Is there anything baove Varm's window that I might work loose with push/pull? Without being obvious about it?)

After climbing out on the ledge, Andro shuffles as fast as he can toward the window in the stairwell. When Varm pokes his head out of the window to take aim at him he risks a glance upward to see if there might be a loose piece of duracreet or something he might bring down to spoil Varm's shot.

No windows on the stairwell I am afraid.

(Well, if my distraction works, I'll dive in the next room and go from there.)

You'd have to break the window, which gives him ample time to cover the doorway out.

how do i do this and i want the investigative mission

Andro, Blur! Use it!

On a window sill??!

Its Evening? good...
Ok I want to try something drastic and possibly foolhardy and stupid.
I wanna try to get into the sanctuary and look for Sith presence...
And I'm taking the magic door opener with me.

I mean once he gets inside the window.

"Perhaps, Abbott," Gallagher, sensing his pain with a sense of his own sorrow. "I was actually interested in perhaps having a private meeting with you, regarding something more pressing. Two somethings, actually. I wanted to schedule a time to talk with you when you were feeling well enough, for you seem to be in great pain as we speak."
