I don't even see how we got to the point of which one is better, my whole point was that American players use pads because of how hard the hits are. In Rugby the hits aren't as hard, still hard, but nothing like being bowled over by a train of a man in the NFL.

I hate to tell people this but the only solid hits in Rugby come from side ways hits, people barely have to close 5 yards to make a tackle.

That is the very nature of Rugby. The biggest people Rugby don't even hit they are basically pushers who are already tied up.

Come back with Rugby being harder then American Football when Doctors can compare the average hit with that of a low impact car crash.

You know why because everytime an O-lineman and a D-lineman collide that is what the it is. Thats why so many Lineman end up with bad knees and necks long after they hang up their pads.

Watched it, and I must say...

...the majority of those hits are tame, we get those in football in every game. They do play without pads, which gets a kudos from me, but the hits in Football are bigger and harder.

Oh how wrong you are. Go look at pictures of our Footballers without pads and then make your comparison. These guys are still packed with muscles. The only thing that looks substantially bigger because of pads are their shoulders.
