Yup. He has control of kinetic energy, control over moisture, control over chemical reactions and so on at a molecular level.Iceman is not limited to "h20".

Yeah. Some people (no names mentioned) use the tried and true "debate out of your ass" method when speaking of Marvel characters.
Lol.
Iceman is extremely underrated by a lot of people in my opinion.
A great deal of people from what I have seen, think he simply "freezes" things etc.
He controls thermal energy, in turn controlling kinetic energy, chemical reactions etc.
I personally give Current Iceman the win over Superman. Apparently he is more powerful than he has ever been (I believe he stated that himself.).

But not powerful enough to keep Havok away from Polaris' vagina.
That was uncalled for.
😠
Polaris is crazy, so that doesn't really count. I mean seriously, Iceman has complete control over his body. Complete control. He can become as "big" as he wants to be.
😉
No sane woman would ever choose Havok over that.
😛
No, Superman can't destroy him, Omega level mutants have the ability to exist beyond a mortal state, and if Iceman were to become Omega, he could more than likely switch from human, to fully ice, to psionic being with no effort. And being an Omega, Iceman would be similar to Aokiji from One Piece, he can completely reform from any damage, and since he's psionic, Superman will just be sucking in air, plus you don't digest air.

Iceman is an Omega level mutant.

Hm. Well, can't Superman just suck in all the moisture in an area, swallow then allow his unique physiology to "digest" Iceman? That'll destroy him at a molecular level.
First of all, that doesn't make any sense. Second of all, Iceman can exist anywhere there is moisture. He can exist without a true body. His consciousness can exist without it.
So if Superman somehow swallowed all the moisture in the area. 😬 Iceman would simply reform in different area.
Full Potential is a very delicate term.
I mean, we don't know the limit of his powers. As an Omega at Full Potential, putting out the Sun might be relatively effortless for Iceman, or beyond him.
Either way, I don't see Superman beating Current Iceman without going all out, and using his powers to the extreme. Even then...

I think the fight is placed in NYC so Sipes is limited in what he can do.
