..or be the same thing.

Yep! All the same.........just different names...........

Man that peeping Sun god............I have to close my blinds....

In a world governed by objectivity, only one religion can be correct. Either that, or all are incorrect.

and the answer is No. ❌

Good thing Enstien's theory of relativity has social applications. Since when is the world objective.

If you take that stance, ALL are incorrect. 😄

Why such a closed minded thought of one being true or false.........What if a belief is ONLY that....and it doesn't matter cause we all go back to where we came from...........

Though I would have to say, that there are degrees of knowing what may be true...

You are confusing objectivity with subjectivity. Example: 1 + 1 = 2; that is objective. For 1 + 1 to equal 2, it does not require you and I to believe it. The truth remains, 1 + 1 will always equal two! If the world were governed by subjectivity, 1 + 1 would equal whatever anyone perceived to be the truth. One plus one could equal 15, 105, 10,000, 175,500,100, etc. It could even equal blue or green- dry or wet. Water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit; that is objective. Again, if the world were governed by subjectivity, water would boil at temperatures people perceived to be true. What a strange world indeed. Imagine venturing over to your neighbors house to find water boiling in the freezer. So, truth is always objective, never subjective. My first name is Barry. That fact does not require for you to believe it; the truth remains. My first name is Barry. Understand? I apologize in advance if I misunderstood your statements.

Thats ok. Subjectivity does not equal relativity. Realativity is how you view the problem. Example: The sum of the internal angles of a triangle =180 degrees. Now, if the 2D space is spherical, and you can draw a triangle that has the sum of its intenal angles equal to 270 degress. Your observations depend on your frame of refernce.

YOu say your relgion is the only true one, but you are in your relgion. Somone else in a different relgion says the same thing. The idea Eisntein had was to accurately gague the way the problem really works, you need to remove yourself from your frame of referance and place yourself in a non-inertial one. If you do that, I think you'll find that all religions are essentially the same and all carry the same degree of truth 😄

Very Good. 👆

I think every religion has an interesting mix of truth and bulls*hit.

The feeling is true, the dogma/indoctrination is your BS.

* IMO, i would take that only one religion is true, and that religion is the one established by Christ... 🙂

IMO you're wrong and shortsighted in your global views on religion.

* er... it's my opinion? anyways, the only true religion is the one established by Christ... if you say that all religious groups are incorrect, it would only imply that even Christ established a wrong one... care to explain yourself, dude? 😕

erm...it my opinion.

erm....your reading problem has not been solved.

* well, IMO you're wrong and shortsighted in your global views on religion... i mean, REALLY... "all religions are essentially the same and all carry the same degree of truth"... you are too stuborn not to base a religion on it's root -> the gospel of Christ... maybe you got comprehension problem... 😛

"If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine , whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."
John 7:17

* Christ Himself said that, why?

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many ."
Matthew 24:4-5

* "all religions are essentially the same and all carry the same degree of truth"... 😕

Erm...in case you didn't know....Chirstianity is not the only relgion that belives its true.

Use logic, not rhetoric. <<My religion is the only true religion because I was told so! 😉>> Please!

All people who are religious tend to describe relgions as giving them the smae feelings. They get similar things out of relgion. No matter what the relgion is, it gives people the same (what I term "religous"😉 experiences. All religions were made up by humans.

That makes al religions equal and all religions carry the same degree of truth.

* well... let's see about that... maybe next time, you should learn how to respect others' opinion, mister... 😉

Opinions aren't valid in the case of clear evidence contradicting them. I'm not her to work out your opinons for you. I mentioned what mine are. I provided some fact for you to contemplate. Like any intellectual, you should incorporate new facts into your currently held positions and revise them as necessary.

I respect opinons if they are backed up with logic and fact.
Actually, I don't think i was really disrespectful to you at all. I clearly said
"imo" repeatedly.

* my opinions are backed up by the Bible... a book which you do not believe... that's where the conflict is... so "in your opinion", my opinion is wrong... funny, you want to pull a fast one... 😉
