Read Superman #216.
He fights Eclipso while wearing a Luthor battle suite that happens to be made out of kryptonite alloy and just happens to emit red solar radiation. Superman destroys the suite while taking some heavy red solar power shots. He also had to try and defeat him while not getting mad cause Eclipso feeds off anger.
Red solar power is not a good option to use if your trying to beat Superman.
Actually, when Zod came a few years ago, he was stronger from a red son like Superman is from yellow one.., that's why he wore the armor under the yellow sun before he turned it red. It transformed yellow to red sun power. Then he turned the whole sun red, and took off his armor and Superman still beat him.

Thanks for the FYI. It makes far more sense if Superman's susceptibility to his weaknesses is not so immediate.
gladiator decimated them. superman could do the same thing. ben and johnny would be useless. any hope they have would lie in sue and reed's brain. thor and hulk have been able to overcome sue's shields in the past. her powers are much more varied now, but short of some silly attack (popping his brain or something) i don't see her being enough. reed might be able to come up with something IF supes doesn't grab him or suck him into his lungs ala hulk. the ff would almost certainly need some prep to win this imo.
Superman owns the fantastic 4. The fantastic 4 are the worst group of super hero's ever.
Superman is more invulnerable and stronger then the Thing.
Superman has X-ray vision which allows him to see Invisible woman.
Superman is Faster then the Human Torch.
Superman is just better then Mr. Fantastic.
Superman uses Speed Blitz, they all die.

how about just blinding him and then kicking his ass...or how about blowing up his brain? Speed blitz? Reed has the real speed blitz, gets on the time sled and shoots his ass out of space while baby Kalel is on his way to Earth. One can make up cheap ass arguments on both sides. Objectively one has to say the F4 and Superman are both great heroes and have beaten the odds countless times.

U know very well in a straight up fight the F4 have more versatility, resources, strategy, intelligence, and availability of heterosexual costumes.

And they don't have more resources or strategy and intelligence is questionable.. Superman's intellect is far above and beyond Earthmen. But, so is Reed's, I'll give you that. It's impossible to guage. He's from one of the smartest/most advanced tech races in the Universe.
