a well written goku fights supes using I.T. for the entire fight like he did with cooler and superman still gets his ass kicked.. fact is, all you're doing is providing a cop-out argument.. taking all of supes best showings while ignoring that superman isn't shown the way you guys WANT him to be 95% of the time he fights...
if all you have is a copout argument then here's another one.. the poll says it all folks.. there I used ad populem and I don't care.. because it's obvious that rationale doesn't count for much in this thread.

id say goku. superman is fast, but goku is instant. at ssj1 goku is stronger than frieza in his 4th form. form 1 frieza has no trouble destroying a planet (as shown in the bardock special), so ssj4 which is many many times stronger than ssj 1 is capable of awesome power. brolly destroyed an entire galaxy with his freakish power, and ssj 4 goku would be his equal. so hes much much faster (instant) and possibly as strong or stronger. he excells in hand to hand combat, superman is a good figher, but hes not as good as goku, goku also has better energy attacks. superman could win if he destroyed the planet, forcing goku to teleport to another becuause he needs to breathe. otherwise id go with goku.

actually superman's a terrible fighter when it comes to h2h... he relies on his powers entirely too much.. which is why batman trumps him in h2h when they get into on a level playing field.. that's why wonder woman outfights him too.. he just simply overpowers everyone cause he has that much power... but he's nowhere near the level of fighter goku is... not even close.

PIS, superman has 1000 yrs of MA experience, so he should be GOD in H2H.

actually there have been suitable arguments' for both sides, the superman supporters unloaded a TON of great feats back around page 50 or so that clearly asserted a correction to the misconception that superman couldn't compete..
however the best post on this thread bar none has been drom a goku supporter sorry to say.. and this is more or less the reason why I'm even currently arguing for this side at this point...

In the frieza fight, frieza's finger blast that were capable of destroying a planet were shown to hit Goku in the chin, who was not even phased. During the fight with Majin Buu, SSJ3's fighting power can be felt in the other dimensions. Speaking of dimensions, Goku is capable of slicing through them. A feat Superman does not have. Even if Supes did go intangible, Goku's dimension cutting blast would still cut through him.
Even during Goku's battle with frieza, Superman wouldn't stand a chance. Goku wins this easily. [/B]

That was great. But the one thing that troubles me is how he believes the IT makes him faster. The IT is simply teleporting, is it not? Teleporting to a planet is one thing, and flying all the way to the planet is another. When was it confirmed that every SSJ transformation was 50 times more powerful than the last?
PS - Teleporting is what I always believed Goku did with the IT. If it's not can anyone give me a link stating how it actually works? Official info would be nice.

like I said goku described I.T. as moving at xxx times the speed of light (I can't remember the number though) anyways...watch movie 6 during the battle betwen goku and cooler they start using I.T. in a h2h contest, there's a clear demonstration of how it works...
