The reason I said "in the comics", was because Surfer didnt mean planet being destroyed. He meant planet burning. Theres a difference.

That blast was powerful enough to burn a planet to a crisp, end all life on it and burn away its atmosphere in seconds leaving an uninhabitable lifeless huusk, yet SS brushed it off like it was nothing. Energy Supes gets taken out by tasers, radiation and disruptor beams.

So what if he can absorb energy quickly. If its quicker than SS can so what? Why are you ignoring the more important issue that energy supes has about 5 major weaknesses all of which SS can take advantage of? What does the speed at which they can absorb energy have to do with anything?

Surfer has absorbed energy in greater quanities, and just as quickly as, if not more quickly than Superman has.

Surfer was staggered by a lightning blast. He didn't scream, or anything. The bullets made Superman cry out in pain.

Yes that blast was powerfull. No one is denying that. Burn the planet slowly to a crisp.

Cosmic and kgkg makes it seem as if that one blast was going to blow up the planet. Which it was cleraly not going to do. I doubt that blast was hotter than the sun.

Meaning.... Superman would have been well capable of surviving that as well.

Kgkg provided the scan of Energy Supes getting HIT with the energy tasers. He never showed Supes get taken out. Thats what we're waiting to see, GS.

Jrod have you not seen my list of weaknesses. Why are you not addressing them? All supes can do to SS is engage him in an energy battle. SS has no obvious weaknesses for spes to make use of. In a straight up energy battle, Surfer with his far greater experience and debatably greater energy levels would take it. Or if SS wanted to cut it short he'd pick 1 weakness out of 5 and lay him to rest.

You're adding in words. Nowhere does it say, or suggest that the planet would be slowly burned to a crisp

The planet would be "reduced (I know you know what that means) to a cinder." It says a cinder, which would be quite the same as a really hot planet.

The heat of the Sun is nothing to the Silver Surfer, if that's what you're implying.

What kind of radiation? Surfer can be hurt by certain energy attacks, but he doesn't have a specific weakness to certain energy wavelengths.

But Surfer had just recently recovered from being completely depleted of his energy reserves and then he was caught off guard by storm. SS wasnt even engaging her in combat. If he was and he was prepared as in KG's scan then he wouldve brushed it off. Just like a 5 yr old can run at an adult an dpush them over, or hurt them if theyre not braced for the attack however if they are ready then that child aint doing sh*t
