What about the fact that he needs additional energies to fly faster than light, bearing in mind that he's going to be expending energy in a fight with SS faster than he can absorb,

as you have seen in Order Silver Surfer makes wonder man useless because he was energy based , same thing would happen to supes here.
SS does indeed win this KG its so obvious. Their minds are clouded by their love for supes. Im not a big SS fan by any means, if Energy supes could more than likely beat him more times out of ten id say so, id admit. The fact of the matter is. SS has all energy supes abilities and then some, he has much more experience, he's debatably more powerful, he has no real weaknesses for energy supes to take advantage of. Supes has many.

Once again...this was when he first got the powers....he controls energy, and this was no longer a factor once he mastered his powers...hell, he was opening dimensional portals...how is that for experience? Both points are Non factors
What about the containment suit? He is intangible by default. You never even saw his suit rip when he went up against the millenium giants or even fighting cyborg directly. Non Factor
How do you explain surfer losing energy so quickly in all the examples shown in this thread? He's been drugged by coffee, hurt by lighting or missles, bleeding, and tired. Supes never showed any of these weaknesses in his energy form. He's never been weakenned by crashing into barriers either.
