Dr. Manhattan vs Silver Surfer.

I heard a rumor dc has greenlit another watchmen series focusing on hooded justice and the more obscure characters. Anyone hear similar?

Heard they gonna give Dr a new boost in abilities but its rumors.

I want to see more about Dr. Manhattan.
With his powerset, I think he would prove to be capable to hold his own in the main DC universe.

They can't really expect to create a Character like DM and then just expect people to not want more.

Imagine if Marvel did that with SS, people would not be amused.

That's what made the book so insightful. The watchman verse isnt standard dc or marvel. It's a stand alone arc that represented more with less. They have plenty of other characters to explore.

Not really. There is no certain way Surfer can be proven to take down DM. DM can reform, become intangible, multiply himself as multiple beings, etc.
DM might not be able to beat Surfer either. So it's at least a stalemate for DM.
A plausible way for DM to win is through teleporting Surfer's head off or something.
