You were just saying she had to conciously change her vision to see energy patterns, now it's 24/7? Still, I'm sure I could see Thor's hammer but I'm not going to be able to stop it from clobbering my skull.

I don't see thing beating colossus, he has members to chuck around, ben doesn't really have any.

Storm is the most key of the players on the X-Men/Spider-Man team even when you don't factor in her powers. She would be the one to turn the individuals into a cohesive team effort due to her experience as team leader of the X-Men. Without her you have Spider-Man whose used to working alone, Wolverine who even within a team tends to do his own thing and Colossus whose never been the most strategic of the X-Men.

Reed (who is being a bit underestimated) should realise this, he could expand and contain Spider-Man and Colossus (very) temporarily. Thing could keep Wolverine busy. That leaves Sue and Johnny Storm to both take on Storm hard and fast.

As team work goes the FF team are one of the best. So take out Storm and the victory is pretty secure. If they can take out Storm at all that is.

It's all a matter of what we think of what will happen.
Either the teammates fighting the other teammates
or a team effort.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

i have been saying the same thing about storm, but everytime i say it people say i overestimate her powers. someone said the biggest threat is sue and reed, that is not true at all. it is a tie between sue and storm, but storm has the edge because of her stragetical skills and versatility. is colossus sees sue and johnny trying to take down sue, he will undoubtidly make sure that doesn't happen. colossus and storm are the closest x-men w/out actually having a romantic relationship. he will more than likely sacrifice himself to protect her, and vice versa. if storm plays her cards right then it will take 2 seconds to take johnny out. simoutanisley summon a lightning bolt and a huge gust of wind, he will be flamed out and be shocked by a ligthning bolt, he won't be getting back from this. and life is cruell, why wouldn't storm do it to sue? there is no reason she wouldn't, and sue has no defense against it.

u underestimate the torch's flight? he can easily avoid storm and devise and offense against her. Storm is so vulnerable that she is hardly a match for the Torch.

Perhaps, but if storm concentrates on him, then she has a good chance of doing great against torch alone.

Okay, a few things.

1. Colossus's metling point=12,000 degrees. NOT 9,000. I have the official "Ultimate" (Not to be confused with the Ultimate X-men) X-men Guide-Upated Edition. Plus I've seen the same temperature on several different sites. Colossus's organic steel melting point is 12,000 degrees F.

2. Storm's lighting can either come from her hands, or from the sky. From the sky, it's much faster, in fact, in all essence, it is a lighting bolt that you would see duting a storm. It attacks that fast, just like when lightning strikes the Earth. So, basically what I'm saying is, if she were to strike HT with the sky-lightning, he wouldn't have a chance in hell of dodging. Hell, even her lighting from her hands is really fast, but I give HT more of a chance of dodging that one.

3. Spiderman has at times developed webbing to smother flames and put them out. I apologize because I don't remember the instance in which that happened, I just know that I have seen it before. It might have even been when HT and Spidey fought before, I dunno. But I do remember Spidey having some sort of flame-retardent webbing.

4. Colossus defeats Thing.

5. I do agree that Wolverine stands absolutely no chance against Mr. Fantastic. That's a horribly mismatched fight right there. Reed will dominate Wolvie, who can't even cut him (his one trick).

6. I know I left out IW, but everyone else has already pretty much thought of ways for that to work out. I'm torn on the subject myself, IW has grown so uberly powerful over the years. I miss her just being able to shield and become invisible.

And I'm spent.

^^really, he is that good? no he isn't considering storm has easily beaten him before, and snuffed his flame without even trying. literally, she wasn't even trying and he had no more flame.

That would be with preptime, or are you saying his webbing is ALWAYS flame retardant?

Could be. When your Spiderman, you've got to prepared for anything.

I mean, if I were Spiderman (Man, that would be awesome), I would carry fire-retardent and plaster-like (to encase water [Hydroman]) webbing with me at all times.

Just in case.

And what if one worked for one thing and the other didn't?

You instantly know when it was time to use one and it'd be instatly in?

You realize that you're starting to sound like those people that think that Batman automatically has what he needs to take a person out at all times?

The minute Spiderman pics up a batarang or "Bat"Shark-repellent, he's out of my life forever.

So batman's not allowed to carry "all purpose tools" but Spiderman is?

🙄

Okay, look. There's a difference between being prepared, and having the most UNNECESSARY items ever.

Seriously. Batman went to the ocean like...once. And he happened to have the shark repellent. And he didn't even know he was going there.

At least Spidey has good reason to carry those web cartridges with him. Cuz, ya know, it's an everyday occurance that Hydroman or HT will wanna fight him. It happens. Sucks for Petey.

But, I mean, it's not like Spidey carries around Doc-Ock repellent. God.

On another note: Man, Cresh, we sure seem to be at each other's throats today. I mean, ya know, more than usual. 😖hifty:

How often have HT and Spidey fought?

Yeah because hothead is normally a bad guy that hates spidey.

Sorry no dice.

At each other's thraots? Naw, not quite. I have'nt insulted you have I?

I'm just providing an opposite standpoint for your arguments.

Sort of like rivals force each other to adapt and become better.
