Yes, but luckily for Torch, Pyro didnt take the flame off completely. Pyro was basically controlling Torch like a puppet.

Can't Pyro manipulate part of Johnny's fire? I know it's cosmic fire but it's still flames in the element. If yeah he could defeat him if no than not.

I dont think he can just switch his flame off.Even of he does torch could just turn it back on.

But i do think when johnny is in his flame form pyro can manipulate what johnny is doing throw him onto the ground a building,anything he wants

well as far as the scans i have seen i have never actually seen pyros's skin come into contact with any flame what so ever.... can anyone provide evidence showing pyros skin in contact with the flame? as i dont belive in this under his control buisnessss. i am aware that he can exstinguish it at will but bring it into contact with his own flesh..... not his body armor!!

and why does the human torch have to even rely on his flame ability in the fist place surely if they both focuses their powers on each others they would get stuck in a deadlock.... now i am going by comic book statistics and saying that human torch is much more battle experienced then pyro and thus going to risk saying that if he just walks up to him and punches him in the face then the battle will be easily over.

This fire must have been pretty hot it Iron Man was using all of his energy reserves just to get through the fire. Pyro then says he can make it hotter and hotter...

Human Torch. I belive his controle of his own flames is greater, plus he can simply absorb anything Pyro throws at him.

Pyro controls his own flames as well as anyones else flames, logically he should be able to control johnny's as well.

If HT would try to shoot pyro with his flames pyro would just take control of them
