Eh...Toshiro only looks cool cause of that damn video game kid.

Not sure if anyone noticed but I think Rukia just lost. Sure Riruka's ability was kind of hax but wow Rukia way to suck. I beat Aaroniero would be kicking himself if he saw this.

Makes sense. Rukia's a pretty pathetic character.

Rukia's got one of the best win ratios of anyone.

She's had two official, yet crappy, wins throughout this whole story. 🙁

Three. One-shotted D-Roy. Killed an Espada (awesomely). And then kicked the butt of that executioner guy with the tree power.

But she got her ass handed to her by a random Hollow in the first chapter, got pwned by Grimmjaw, beaten by Yammy and now she's lost to Riruka. Hows that 'one of the best win ratios?'

Ok, lemme rephrase: Unlike, say, Chad and Renji, she's actually allowed to have wins 🙂

Can someone explain to me why Tsukishima said Kuchiki owes him?

I don't get it. I suspect it has something to do with the past that he manipulated or something? WTF is going on?

Is Kuchiki saying that Ichigo over powers Tsukishima's false past "owe" insertion BECAUSE Ichigo saved Kuchiki from killing his "sister"? Meaning, whatever random crap Tsukishima made up for Kuchiki to befriend Ichigo with...it was overpowered by Ichigo's actions from reality?

I think he means because Tsukishima enabled him to experience the joy of manly combat. He gave him a Warrior Boner.

That's soooo laaaame!

I was hoping it wasn't that. I thougt, "Surely it wasn't that..."

For the last one that was a team effort, even though she did indeed carry the fight. It's kind of like how Itachi dealt with Nagato.

Oh...and for the Tsukishima thing. yep that's the breaks.

Tsukishima's edited past meant that he and Byakuya were pals and apparently close enough that the latter told him about his weakness. "You owe me everything" probably means Tsukishima did some things(wink wink nudge nudge) that he thinks Byakuya shouldn't cut him down for. They're BFFs. But Byakuya is like "No, my BFF is Ichigo even if I never actually talk to him. He says kill, I say how fast."

Yeah, that's similar to what I thought.

I hate it, however. 😬

Eh, I didn't mind it. Byakuya does owe Ichigo a lot I suppose. He is a possible brother in law in the future. vin

I don't mind it either. although I wouldn't exactly say Byakuya would think of him in a bff way. more like a 'hey he's helped me and family out a bit so I owe him big time and will destroy anyone against him' kinda way. the quick and fatal slash to Tsukishima kinda proves it.

Even then though, I think it is rather out of character for Byakuya.

What I would have preferred would have been him saying "You sided with an enemy of the Soul Society."

That would have been more in character than specifying Ichigo like that.

Killed an Espada (awesomely).

There was nothing cool about that fight.

"I HAVE THE UNIQUE ABILITIES OF THOUSANDS OF CREATURES BUT WILL PROCEED TO ONLY USE THREE AND WILL HOLD YOU COMFORTABLY ON MY TRIDENT SO YOU CAN STAB ME IN THE HEAD."

Rukia only won that fight because her opponent had no idea how to competently use his abilities.

Why does that argument seem tautological to me?

"X only beat Y because Y lost."

I dunno, it never seems like a good argument to say someone only won because another character didn't do this or that.

Do you want to call it CIS? Maybe. What if 997 of those abilities were crap and those 3 he used were definitely the best?

Ze fans disagree apparently.

I thought it did well for an attempt to keep the hype of the Espada. And how Rukia won was cool. Get it? Ice?

It's not just that.

He literally impaled her in the chest (Because that kills so many people in Bleach amirite) and laughed like an idiot before being stabbed in the head.

Like a boss apparently.

Beyond that, I'm not a fan of "Informed Abilities" in general, show don't tell mother****er.

And yeah now, it would be like the Flash losing a fight to Deathstroke because he suddenly forgot he has an enormous amount of superspeed (This happened).

But I digress.
