The Official BLEACH series Thread

I dunno...I kinda like the new villain. Very odd and flamboyant but still strangely powerful in his own way. At least he didn't crap his pants at the sight of Getsuga Tensho like Ginjo did or seem all that nervous. He's cocky sure but with good reason. Buck(what I choose to call the Big Bad until his name is revealed) seems to have confidence in him, though he thinks Ichigo will eventually win I believe.

And I like the design, save for the shitty boots.

I'm with you on this opinion, TheAuraAngel. this villain is definitely an improvement from Ginjo and his cronnies. let's hope that Kubo doesn't suddenly screw it up though.

Tsukishima>Kirge though. Not the big bad though, who is so darn charismatic for a guy with so little screen time. He's like the Bleach version of Madara Uchiha. Just so lulzy in how evil he is.

I'm actually starting to think that Aizen lied about the whole thing or was simply wrong. Her powers suck as of late.

I did like Tsukishima due to the fact he made Ichigo cry, something Aizen never did, but this Kirge guy is promising too.

How couldn't Orihime's ability be related to reishi? All superhuman in Bleach abilities are related to the spiritual.

new Bleach chapter is out.

Spoiler:
Not much happened but we were told the same story about quincies again and Allon beat Kirge down Hulk style....suprised how Allon did better in three panels against Kirge than Ichigo did in 5 chapters. Oh and Apache got stabbed and stuff.

This Bleach chapter was pretty bad.

We were given the same exposition regarding the relation between Quincy and Shinigami, which clearly isn't the full story.

Allon did well against Kirge, but it didn't last long enough.

And that's pretty much it.

I don't really mind the repeat exposition. Kubo is clearly just concerned about the idea that new fans who picked up the series late won't know the whole story so he devotes some time to them.

Granted, now might not have been the best time and I can think of some excellent alternatives. But it was harmless and this chapter did surprise me. I expected Allon to be put down like nothing but it was actually kinda cool to see him get to beat up this guy while the villain is clearly holding back.

Typical shounen beatdown where the guy pulls something out of his ass to turn the tables.

Crappy chapter.

Not to nitpick but since we know so little about Kirge's abilities, how can that be called an asspull?

Eh...kinda. I'm just wholly biased in saying Naruto is the worst this week so I'm really easy on Bleach.

Plus those new kids were in the chapter and I like them for some reason.

I didn't mean it literally. I was just commenting that its typical shounen fare when one side is clearly winning until the other pulls out his 'ace in the hole' and turns the tide.

About 90% of the fights in Bleach follow that formula.

He stabbed her.

I wouldn't really call that an "ace in the hole asspull ability".

His head is doing something by the looks of things.

yeah sure looks that way. must have something to do with the blood cloth that he mentioned. whatever it is, it let him take some pretty nasty hits from that monster.

Well...go Ayon. Chapter was disappointing but at least we'e looking forward to the next one now with that beast kicking Nazi ass and not Rangiku's this time. Speaking of who, I wonder what's gonna happen if she, Momo and all the other lieutenants meet that thing again if those three espada women decide to join up to fight the Quincies. I hope they don't get traumatized.

Man, I sorta d'awhed when Ayon was worried about his "mommies" at the beginning.

I liked this chapter. For me, it felt like old school Bleach...the good days.

The second part!

14:15-14:20 was hilarious.

Pretty good observations. Still like the Fullbring arc and I'm disappointed he didn't really put in explanations for his complaints of it being uninteresting(I disagree), having horrible pacing(yeah, it had that), and had a terrible conclusion(I kinda agree and kinda disagree).

But the Aizen fight truly was the thing that deserved the most attention.

yeah I gotta agree with you guys on this chapter: felt like old-school Bleach and that's a good thing. Nemebro, I'm in the same position as you; who'd have thought a monster like Ayon could actually bring out the d'awhed side of us?

on another note, that Kirge guy's ability to pretty much add a person's power and partially their appearance to his own could potentially be a pretty broken ability in Bleach if the other quincy (and I'm sure they can) can use it, especially their commander.

Bleach was good. It's nice to see characters dropping like flies.

Kirge and Ichigo are having a decent fight.
