Who did Hallibel brag to? Who did Stark brag to? Barragan took charged and bragged about his powers but still knew he was weaker than Aizen. Nnoitra bragged to Nel but knew he was weaker and it pissed him off. Zommimora, #8(don't care what his name is), and Aaroniro would only brag to the people they were fighting, which is far more understandable than Grimmjow taunting people that are ranked stronger then him.

And Grimmjow did it all the time, whereas most of these guys lack the screentime to make what little bragging they did do grating.

anyhow, it think you're mistaking bragging with talking shit. Pretty sure Grimmjow knew he was weaker, he just didn't care. Bragging is making it known that you're better, that's not what he was doing. He's cocky, but not delusional.

Meh, another wasted chapter. We have already seen the 'shimigami vs. zanpakutou' battle. More than once, even.

So they're not going to learn a new Jinzen tech. And I'm still confused since I thought zanpakuto were supposed to be constructs of the users souls. So what does this guy do exactly?
