I agree. She doesn't feel as threatening. It would be better if she started to slice him a whole bunch, bit chunks out of him during clashes, and acted more animlistic such as scratching and growling. Then throw a scene where she laughs while she slices and the blood splatters on her teeth...or something.
Then I would be convinced that she's this fearful first generation Kenpachi that surpasses Zaraki.
