Eh...I don't like how Unohana is portrayed in this chapter. Last time I got a real psycho ***** feeling from her that actually made her moments on panel feel uncomfortable. Here she's too beautiful and it somewhat takes me out of it.

No but I just thought Unohana was genuinely creepy before and now she's...really not. She's just another fighter. Cute but not really someone I'm afraid of.

I agree. She doesn't feel as threatening. It would be better if she started to slice him a whole bunch, bit chunks out of him during clashes, and acted more animlistic such as scratching and growling. Then throw a scene where she laughs while she slices and the blood splatters on her teeth...or something.

Then I would be convinced that she's this fearful first generation Kenpachi that surpasses Zaraki.

So...umm everybody just forgot that Ichigo stalemated Kenpachi in the Bleach verse.

Unohana's kind of cool but from what I've seen her I still don't know why she holds back in major conflicts.

I read Bleach because, at times, it has great writing that keeps me entertained.
